This is the kinda shit that makes the game a fucking blast. And you feel like such a pro. The game has way more of a Splinter Cell vibe with the stealth when you know what youāre doing. The stealth in this series has never been this good and satisfying.
Yep. I wish we had more Sam-like moves and different ways to assassinate or knock down enemies in houses, cuz not all of them have a thing to grapple onto on the Ńeiling and I can see Naoe using stuff at the ŃeIling to hold onto. Come to think of it, we don't even have non-lethal takedowns from above at all, only ground ones.
This is the one I just bumped in to on a dock and shanked when I wasn't even looking for him, haha.
The thing is, for me he was in a different place. Speakin' of bumping on the quest objectives. If you're not rushing the game and just exploring everything, you don't even need to look at the quest board for some objectives cuz you'll naturally bump into them.
yasuke best ac combat ever
Eh, no, I don't think I agree with this.
Yasuke is basically baby ass baby mode for those who hate or can't do stealth and when it comes to combat in comparison to Naoe. I haven't got him yet, but everything I've seen of him is just... turn your brain off and just move forward blindfolded. The true meat of the ACS combat (and stealth) lies with Naoe and the whole game's combat and stealth was built around her. Naoe has way more and better combat options, where as Yakuse simply has more power cuz he's a giant dude.
Speakin' of Naoe. Who's played around with Kusarigama? It's very effective crowd control weapon... but only against bandits. God forbid you'll go against multiple enemies with spears while using it like monks (let alone armored samurai), they will destroy your ass with long ass combos and will attack you all at once! And so here's where my problem with this weapon lies - much more effective crowd control skills are locked behind lvl 2 and 3 skill trees, so you can't effectively crowd control enemies with spears, stagger them and knock them far away from you, cuz where you're using Kusarigama they're your worst enemies.
I think they should've swapped the first active skill you can unlock in Kusarigama skill tree with the crown control one, cuz first and foremost Kusarigama is a crown control weapon and it'll take you long ass time to unlock lvl 2 and 3 skills (unless you just rush through the game that is). I mean, Naoe's combat is a lot more flexible and has a lot more options, so you can just switch to a more powerful katana, but... it can't crown control and switchin' weapons during combat can be a bit iffy sometimes. Anyway, how's your experience with Kusarigama, folks? You can also customise it just like katana and tanto (I haven't used tanto yet, so there's also this weapon I'll be testing at some point as well)
P.S. I wish we could deflect arrows and kunai with katana as well as with Kusarigama's spinning skills...
