I missed this thread for so long as I wasn't subscribed and didn't make a point to search for the thread if I didn't see it.

Oddly only found out because someone posted a link to it to help out an American in Off-Topic.

The reason I rarely came to Online is the fact everything is mega threads about online gaming and that's not something I do much of. This year it's only been WoW off and on and War for Cybertron and I get pissed enough having my cousins retarded 14 year old Halo buddies message me during an Insanity Mass Effect run that I avoid Live when I can.
Course now he's added all these Gary's Mod friends...but anyway!

This place is hard to find but if we're not allowed in Gaming and Off-topic would kill the obligation to discuss Ausgaming there's not really other options. Just wish there was some banner ad that pointed Aussie gamers here via IP or some such.

Get a Galaxy S

Xperia X10 is stuck on Android 1.6 which limits you significantly in the marketplace (i have been playing around with the SDK and the stuff that is 2.0 and above only is really worth it)

The galaxy S also has an amazing screen and 16gig of memory to put apps in

Sony has also not indicated whatsoever the Xperia will be upgraded beyond 1.6 in Australia

like most Halo games, I wasn't excited until basically a week ago, but right now I'm pretty excited for some Halo-styled co-op and all that jazz.

I asked my usual online buddies if we are doing the reach around, the overwhelming consensus was "no".

I still need to buy ODST... Waiting for a good price drop.

I've never been hyped for Halo, despite my trend of picking them up within a week of launching. For some reason I've really been lookin forward to Reach since playing the beta, yet ironically I just won't have the time to play it straight away this time around.

Might give online a whirl tonight, but the campaign will have to wait...

I'll be getting it, and playing it online a fair bit. i've got a week off at the end of the month and plan to halo a fair bit.

I'm quite jazzed for Reach


ordered it for $84 delivered from Big W- mainly because I won't be able to get away from work before the weekend anyway. Hasn't shipped yet. excuse me for one second...

anyway, finished a replay of Halo 3 on the weekend and just started an ODST replay. Should be finished in about 30 minutes time. That's some short shit there but overworld aside, I loved the battles in ODST.

I have about two weeks before we bugger off to the US on holiday so every waking minute from the time it arrives and our departure will be crammed with Halo single and multiplayer. I'm guessing I'll be on to Medal of Honor on my return anyway.

I picked up Reach and my free tshirt this morning. Just playing through the campaign now. It's pretty awesome, but multiplayer is where its at. Add me if you want to play sometime: mandiller

Luckily I managed to preorder at amiami for a decent price, but they are sold out now as well.
