Some of the browns on BMWs is very very pretty. I prefer dark to saddle myself.
White can also look amazing, on a garage queen. Lol
Yup, I love the look of the seats in my ATS. I was also fond of the two tone cloth seats in my Malibu.

Raptors are badass. I see a lot of them on base. I'm a RAM guy for life but would buy a Raptor in a heartbeat.

My only advice is to just keep driving the car and not worry about it or else you'll never enjoy your drives as much. As unfortunate as what happened to my 987 Boxster, I loved every moment I got onto the road with it. Had some great memories in the short time I've had the car with my family and friends. It handles so well and had such a lovely sound as I drove that I sometimes just turned off my radio just to listen to the car engine. I think you feel the same way when you drive yours!
The 718 Cayman will be black on black. I'm going to miss the convertible top, since there were times last year that were rough, but driving around in a convertible and looking at the stars and feeling the wind definitely helped on those tough nights.

While I think large trucks do look cool, I really hate seeing one in a parking structure. 90% of the time it means there's one less spot available next to it (unless you drive a Fiat 500 or Smart fortwo).
Worst part is when you see it get into a compact parking space so no one fits next to the truck

Well the GS F is kinda under powered for what it is. It has much less power than the competition like the M5 and E63 and it also has a naturally aspirated engine which mean wayyyy less torque. Torque is everything on these heavy sedans.
Every enthusiast has a free license to hate on Lexus lol. Maybe the LC500 will turn things around.

Last weekend I took a trip up to Warwickshire to visit the British Motor Museum. Haven't been there for a few years and it now has the added bonus of the Jaguar Heritage Centre housing most of their collection there in a new building. I visited the old one at Browns Lane many moons ago, but now that's closed it was nice to see them all again in one place.
Loads of rare one-offs and concept cars to see. Well worth a trip.

I'd actually argue Lexus' cars are a lot more interesting than a plain Jane BMW(minus the M line) or Audi. Hell, I'd daresay that Lexus is the Mercedes of the Japanese luxury marques.
As for the LC500, I'm glad they didn't really change a thing from when I saw it at my local Cars and Coffee back in October 2016:

Yeah, I'm glad to see the praise the car is getting. Between this and the surprise positive reaction to the GS-F, I have a good outlook for Lexus in the future.
Nighttime driving in a convertible is majorly underrated. All of the media you see about convertibles is always sunny days, but there's just as much joy in cool nights. My next car probably won't be a convertible, but it's going to be hard to give those nights up.

I am so close to getting a 6 speed NB Miata as my next daily driver.
My only worry is how buzzy it is at 75mph. I was hoping the 6sp wouldn't be as bad.

I'm glad some of you know the joys of driving with the top down at night. I actually enjoy it more than when the sun is up. I don't have to worry about sunscreen or sweating bullets with the sun up. The wind, cool air, and just general feeling of driving on empty streets at night time is great for a bad day or just wanting to relax.
I'm playing around with the idea of buying a used 981 Boxster just because I really love the convertible top. I never thought I'd be a convertible guy until I got the 987 Boxster.

I have a NB 5 speed. 75 mph is probably upper 3k to low 4k
Drone isn't bad with stock exhaust.
I seriously considered stretching beyond my comfortable means to get a current gen TT roadster, but the cost is quite... prohibitive in Canada for one. Couldn't come close to justifying that kind of money for essentially a GTI motor.
And ideally would like to row my own if I get a convertible.

Well, the RC F was totally underwhelming. LFA was totally unreachable and the GS F while people say it's good, it doesn't have the guts. I love everything about the LC except that hideous rear end.

I was wondering if that 6th had any effect at all on highway rpm.
I had an NA 5SP 1.8 and it was like 4K at 75mph.
So my exhaust turned out a little louder than expected, but I'm OK with that. Stopped by my friends work and got a quick cellphone vid done.

Hm, I like the X1 withe the M Sport package. I'd trade in my 228i M Sport for one with xDrive now that I'm moving to the PNW.

Happy to see Jags way up there for the 3 year study. This means 2014MY cars have been largely dependable with only 1.44 issues per car. Lexus is a no surprise. Nissan...wow. Infiniti...damn. Most of Infiniti's troubles I'm sure are due to Q50 owners not understanding the interface (see: Acura's unusually low score). 2013 is when both brands debuted new cars with double screens (as 2014MYs), and clusterfuckery ensued.

I'm up in the WB/Scranton area. I'll be heading down to Bethlehem for a Cars and Coffee April 23rd. And, if there's any big shows near you like that, let me know. The Bethlehem one gets crazy. Hundreds upon hundreds (maybe a thousand at the one meet last year?) of cars.

Well, in my NC I really can't hear much of anything except wind noise at 75mph. There's probably some engine/exhaust noise in the background somewhere but it is far exceeded by the sound of air rushing past the convertible top.
Haha, that had me giggling. It sounds like a rally car and that is a good thing.

The Audi TT is great and amazing car in general, especially the newer models just based on tech and comfort. But if you ever get a chance, seriously try a convertible. I'd recommend it.
I never thought I'd ever go beyond my Japanese sedans, much less a convertible Porsche, and in the end, it gave me some good memories. Seriously, there were some really bad days last year and just driving around at night with seat warmers, convertible top down, feeling the wind and looking at the sky while driving on country roads was therapeutic. Obviously, it's also fun with traveling with people around Napa Valley and such, but just those nights where I wanted to be alone and outside, those were the nights I'll miss most when I don't have my convertible anymore.
Whoever earlier said they're going to get a Miata, I hope he/she does. That car with its short shifter was really fun to drive as well.

I've driven the new TTS, incredibly dull to drive. It felt amazing inside though but for the price it had, it should have.

Reminds me of the old Group B anything goes cars. I've been driving around all day pissing people off / making people smile. My tuner is gonna get me a "more aggressive" map for more fun. I said that's fine, but keep it where it's at in normal mode now, sport/drift mode can be nuts, and track mode has to be under control for noise regulations at certain venues so got to limit the bang bangs.
People commenting in my FB group said all articles written stating "pops and bangs" need to be amended to state "pops and pops" because this exhaust and tune makes bangs.
I'm such a lil' kid. lol.
