Banned for using photo mode psn

I've been permanently banned from PlayStation Network for using the official photo mode in Stellar Blade. Apparently, the automatic upload feature flagged my harmless screenshots as explicit content.
Despite multiple appeals, Sony has refused to lift the ban. This has resulted in the loss of over £40,000 worth of games and complete access to my PSN account.
It's truly absurd that a simple use of an in-game feature could lead to such severe consequences.

Utterly bizarre that this can actually happen.

Outside of the Stellar Blade stuff, did you have a checkered past with them? Even so, I might consider speaking with an attorney if you can afford one. Sometimes you just need to show you're serious. Big companies can surprisingly roll over and play dead in situations like this.

Sorry to hear that OP, hope you can do an appeal, if not it's time to check with an attorney since it's insane to lose access to all of your digital game library due to a dumb thing like this.

Also, this is one of the reasons I'm 95% physical on console, even if some of the niche games I'm into are more expensive and/or harder to find physically than digitally.

Stupid that the system does not just age restrict your pictures rather than going directly to a ban of the user. The system knows the age rating of every game. So if it is 18+ it should be restrictive with uploads, flag them as 18+, making them only viewable by accounts that are not defined as kid accounts, if there is even such a thing, or just block uploads despite auto upload active?

The fact that a corporation can ban anyone and take away thousands of dollars worth of games, dlc, etc etc that you paid for with your hard earned money is absolute bs. But what's even more bs is that said corporation does this stuff knowing the average joe dosen't have thousands of dollars for a lawyer meaning they know that they're going to get away with it.

Go to twitter OP, getting attention over there is your only shot at getting it reversed. Make sure to tag playstation and warn people about the digital future and buying digital content on the PS Store.

I will say this though OP, while your perma ban seems unjustified (if things are really as you said), I cannot feel sorry for your £40,000 of lost content because you chose to buy all that shit digitally, you chose "You'll own nothing and you'll be happy" and I have zero sympathy for people who do that.

We can’t make a judgment on this until the original picture is shared.

This seems extremely unlikely, they know all the weebs are taking photos of Eve so I doubt you could get banned permanently for this. I would think you’ll be reinstated as you sound like an absolute cash cow to Sony, why would they want to ban you? It would be of no benefit to them.
