Wave Race - Blue Storm

To this day I haven't played another water based game that has come close to achieving what Wave Race Blue Storm did with its liquid simulation let alone a water based racing game. All the other games on the list apart from maybe Super Circuit have been bettered by subsequent other games either in their own series or others.

Honourable mentions to Super Circuit, 1nsane, GT3 and PGR

SSX shouldn't be on the list for racing.

ps Sea Of Thieves looks set to take the water based crown from what i've seen so far.

You forgot NASCAR Racing 4 from Papyrus (the makers of Grand Prix Legends and iRacing).

Also Nascar Thunder 2002 and Nascar Heat 2002

I tried that too... and I remember the menus all being blacked out for some reason. Very annoying :/

Oh, there's no fix for that but an easy workaround. It only happens on the car select screen, but the screen comes back for around 0.5 seconds if you highlight another car, so you basically flicker rapidly up and down until you decide which car you want, then you probably know how many times to move up or down to select it.

Not to mention this rule is odd because Rk128, friend of mine, nothing against him, has made the same type of threads (Retrospective) sometimes up to 5-66 times in a few days,

I don't recall making 66 threads in three days XD!

And if you noticed, I stopped doing that and try making them less frequent. I honestly don't understand the meaning behind the voting threads you have been making, but it is drawing attention to great games people might have glossed over, and that is always a great thing .

I would suggest making one every two days to avoid the mods having issue with too many of these kinds of threads. Either way, looking forward to future Console Retrospectives you have in store and keep up the good work .

I give it to Wave Race: Blue Storm. It doesn't have the impact or longevity of the original, but it was still reasonably well-made. I wish we got another one of these.
