This seems a bit shit. I got my Disk based OG ps5 on sale when the slim launched for £350 GBP and its the disk model.

I guess now low income folks can finally buy a Playstation

Curious the Disc version is getting 75€ and 75 USD discount but the Digital one is getting 25 USD and 75€ one, finally Sony treating Europe not like pure shit?

A 375€ Digital PS5 vs the new 450€ Digital Series X can be an absolute stomp ( i mean it is already, but ye)

At this price Sony is likely still making a profit. They have become greedy POS right now with their customers.

but the graph above is not the financial report?
No. Are the prices of the TSMC. Where everybody buys their chips. The financial report said last year there where less loss due to inferior hardware sales. So the more they sell the more they loose.

Wow...this is the cheapest prices we've ever seen these here in Europe. Buying a digital PS5 for 375€ and a physical one for 475€? This is gonna fly of shelves.

Theoretically speaking, when will the PS5 Pro have a sales price cut?
is it completely impossible to see some minor price cuts during this Black Friday ?

A price cut announced for Black Friday for a product that's not even out yet? Right when the console is on pre-order only? That would be fun.

Only next year for sure, right when GTA is coming.

Tiago, the Pro comes out on November 7nth, Black Friday is on the 29th, also, I'd didn't say if they'd announce it, just if there's a possibility for shops to slash the price up 😉

Regarding the 5 Pro, this is what chatGTP has to say about BF deals 2016 when the PS4 Pro released :
"The price of the PlayStation 4 Pro was discounted during Black Friday 2016, shortly after its release in November of the same year. While the PS4 Pro retailed at $399, many retailers offered bundle deals, including free games or accessories, rather than directly lowering the console's price. Some stores included games like Uncharted 4 or Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, making it a good value during the shopping event.

It wasn't a massive price cut, but the bundle offerings made it an attractive deal for buyers".

and

" During Black Friday 2016, PlayStation 4 Pro bundles typically included popular games or additional accessories. Here are some of the common bundles offered:

1. Uncharted 4 Bundle – Included the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End game, which was one of the top-rated PlayStation exclusives at the time.

2. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition Bundle – This bundle featured Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as well as the remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

3. Additional Game Bundles – Some retailers, like Best Buy or Target, offered bundles that allowed buyers to choose a game from a select list, sometimes including titles like The Last of Us Remastered or Ratchet & Clank.

4. Accessory Bundles – Some deals included extra controllers or PlayStation Plus subscriptions in addition to the PS4 Pro.

These bundles varied by retailer, but they typically offered good value by combining the PS4 Pro with hit games and accessories without significantly discounting the c
onsole itself."

So, maybe they'll bundle the PS5 Pro ?

Oh i know but usually Black Friday promos leak in advance. Weeks in advance. Maybe some stores could do some promos but not something Sony-related. (unfortunately. i wouldn't complain lmao)

They won’t.

With GTAVI or another major PlayStation release next year like Death Stranding 2 or Ghost of Yotei.
But I wouldn't expect deep discounts, they could bundle the game and cut 50$. That's all.

Took another look and here in Euro land, the PS4 Pro was 70€ off at GameStop (340 instead of 410€).
Hmmm...

You gotta admit it’s pretty remarkable that the PS5 is outpacing the PS4 without a price drop.
I’m not sure price drops are really going to be a thing going forward? I mean look at the Switch which is on track to be the best selling console ever despite never having a price drop

So the bundle is the lesser revision of the console with a free to play game pre-installed and a discount that covers just a single new game purchase (after price increase)? Wow, what a steal! /s

that thing should be $250 with a game or a controller at this point.

getting close to $300 is not bad, I guess...

With everything going on at Xbox it's really not (IMO). To anyone who still likes Xbox I get it no shame in that but if I wasn't in that ecosystem I would have sold my system and moved over. Unless I had friends there then I'd try to convince them to do the same.
