Some people are getting PS plus discount offers with their current subscription and some aren’t, I don’t know why Sony does this, just offer it to everybody.

Well, what do you know. Here she is. Paid a little extra, €420, for the Horizon bundle. Initially I hoped to get the game separately at some point but thankfully I did some research and it is a €60-euro game with no physical release?! WTF Sony? Don't expect it to be on sale for less than €20 any time soon, if ever. The box was quite dusty, had been sitting on the top shelf for ages probably.

I think the most egregious is Costco. If you let your sub expire they keep it inactive for 2 months. If you resubscribe during that period, not only do you pay full price, but you lose anytime during that two months that you did not resubscribe because the effective date is your original renewal date.

Cult Epics released all three in the US earlier this year. Should be beautiful 4K transfers according to reviews. Just arrived in the mail today.

Anyways, can't even finish the VR2 setup as the controller batteries are empty. LOL. I was afraid that was going to happen as a lot of people complained about PS Move batteries when the first PSVR was released. I hope the batteries aren't completely dead and will pick up a charge.

They all do this you’re right, existing subscribers of all services get nothing meanwhile potential customers get great deals, it’s kind of understandable I guess, even if it’s scumbag. But in this case specifically with ps+, some people who are subscribers are getting discount offers, while others aren’t. There’s a big Reddit thread about it, there’s people in there saying I’ve been a subscriber for 10 years, I have premium and I’m getting a 30% discount and I live in the US, and another person saying I’ve been a subscriber for 10 years, I have premium and I’m not getting a discount and I live in the US. It seems there’s no consistency as to who gets a discount and who doesn’t.

It's almost the same when they use to pull the x dollar coupon that some would get back then.. I never got it. They love pulling some funky stuff on users.

Better story and characters, and more interesting gameplay. There aren't any procedural dungeons in Metaphor, P3R is just one giant procedural dungeon, and the town is very small with not many activities so it gets very repetitive. I also found the combat in Metaphor much more engaging, the 'Press Turn' battles and job system offer a lot more strategy and ways to approach battles.

The lenses won't be as good and you'll be tethered. Those are the main things holding me back. $349 for the Horizon Bundle seems like an awesome value, though. I'm tempted, myself.

I would say if you like Gran Turismo and Beat Saber then yes, you can continue playing these forever, regardless Sony's future support for the platform. However, since you already have a Quest 3, I would say no...

Anyways, just played a bit of Horizon Call of the Mountain, my first VR game with that kind of movement and boy was that nauseating playing it standing up.

Anyways, just played a bit of Horizon Call of the Mountain, my first VR game with that kind of movement and boy was that nauseating playing it standing up.

Moving and looking around always takes a while to get comfortable with. I thought I'd never be able to do it, then I played Batman Arkham Shadow, and now I feel like a VR king.

If you disable auto renew. Click on buy essential, then click to buy it should adjust down from 79.99. Mine did this last night and mine expired on 12/4/2024. Now got through 12/4/2025. It will say 79.99 on the first menu but when you click through you should see the discount before purchase. Maybe that will work?

I picked up Armored Core 6. I never played it or any other Armored Core game. I don't really like mech games. I never bought it before now because the game didn't look appealing to me. But for $20 and so many people who love it, I figured at that price it was worth giving it a shot.

I'm playing through Wake rn (4 chapters in) and I'm honestly underwhelmed. It's not very scary, the combat is boring, and the story has yet to pull me in (though I'm sure it will eventually). Idk maybe it'll improve. Interestingly, Wakes parts of the game seem to be the worst so far. I at least get some enjoyment out of Sagas sections.

I'm also waiting for the complete edition for Stellar Blade (not messing with this 10 dollars for a costume bullshit).

If you don't like base game, Phantom Liberty isn't worth it, I loved both (10/10 for me), and PL is even better than base game, but no doubt it's more of the same. It actually integrates into main story so you'd have to do another playthrough to experience it.

Star Wars Survivor is excellent. It's basically a light souls-like. Great graphics and solid combat, but a bit overdone on the platforming. If you liked Fallen Order, it's a much better version of that (I wasn't a fan of Fallen Order, too simplistic and repetitive). If Fallen Order was a 6, Survivor is an 8.

Silent Hill 2 is 10/10 horror, so you already won with that.

They just refunded my renewal from 2 days ago so I could take advantage of the deal today. Definitely contact chat support.

Even if you aren't in the US, depending on where you live you might still come in at under $30 even with international shipping .

I was just reading about the performance issues on the Pro and might just hold off on it right now and hope for a patch. Stellar Blade is tempting but I agree with you on wanting a complete edition. Think I’ll wait, already have plenty in the backlog and the two FF games are sure to keep me busy for several hours.

I wouldn't wait tbh, you don't need the custumes and the game looks excellent on Pro. The BF deal is pretty good.
