See, I don't get it either, people have been saying that you can't use the BF offer if you're already subscribed, or, that you can only use the deals for a higher tier sub but, I'm on PS plus Essential which ends on February 2025 and yet, I do get the option on the store menu to resub to Essential with a 20% discount...

So, unless I got things wrong, there's the theory that SOME users get the option while others don't ?

You can't have an active sub to get the discount. If it renewed recently, ask chat support for a refund and cancellation.

The problem I have is that my TV sits on a desk in my studio and I have the Pro sitting on a drawer next to me - I basically have no room as to play games while standing, would that be a problem ?

Pretty well, although I wish they would let you adjust the seated area size. I keep getting the warning overlay because my hands extend out of it during NMS getting out the cockpit.

So what they're doing is providing value and options.

It's smart marketing because they know interest in Fornite is high as is NBA 2K among casual gamers. So it's a good argument for someone to upgrade from their PS4 or X1.

All that being said, they could have bundled the Fortnite dual sense with this instead of a white one.

They always do. Up the price just a little so most people won’t notice and then discount that to a minimum so you’re still paying 45 - 60 bucks. Depending on success and time of release.

Everybody's deals suck now, it's not just Sony. Some will have slightly better sales then others but overall we're past the time of crazy sales. Here is the thing unfortunately when things are selling crazy numbers at full price there isn't much incentive to put out crazy sales. It's also just the economic climate we live in now.

Hell you'd think with how badly Xbox consoles are selling overall that they would put out some great sales to get more people in the ecosystem but you don't and you won't unless they decide to completely exit the console business hardware wise.

Same thing happened with Steam. Steam used to have CRAZY sales all the time with their big sales like Christmas and stuff but that ended years and years ago and I'm sure people don't want to hear it but the more and more mainstream that PC gaming gets the worse the sales will be on platforms like Steam.

Why would games with a history on PlayStation not sell well? All games in the Drakengard series were PlayStation exclusive (besides I believe a mobile port of one of them), the original Nier was on PS3, and Automata was console exclusive for a period of time.

Japanese games are more popular on PlayStation then anything else most of the time.

If you aren't against used stuff and live in the states try eBay. I bought mine for $250 plus tax in box with all accessories and the charging dock for the controllers. Was in great condition.

A lot of people are dumping theirs on eBay.

Not direct black friday sales. but I sold my 4090 for more than msrp and I am waiting for the 5090 ( thanks Nvidia for discontining the card, please do the same with the 5090 when you are about to release the 6090.
