PlayStation’s Black Friday Deals kick off November 22

Thick Thighs Save Lives

NeoGAF's Physical Games Advocate Extraordinaire
Not sure if this was already mentioned, but Alan Wake 2 Deluxe is 50% off.

Discounts are pretty shit this year. Bought Metro Exodus though.

Amazeballs game brother, one of the best ones i've played the during previous-gen.
Enjoy !

PS : Don't know which version you got but the DLC (both of them) is also friggin' amazing, 1st one (Two Colonels) is typical, linear, atmospheric Metro while the 2nd one (Sam's Story) is basically "more Metro".

sub will stack if you buy new one, some of my friend has sub stack for 5 6 years before PS+ pricce increase, i should follow their advise and bought some back then
In europe i cant find the same offer (greece)
Do you think is location related?
My extra also runs out february 25 but i cant find any offer to stack up a mew subscription...

Atm, extremely disapointed by the deals i'm seing on the PSstore. I mean, the % of discount are minimal, and the remaining price it so high.
Was waiting for BF for my new ps5 pro...
The strategy is clear, the same for all software editors : artificially high price for pertpetual licences games to make you move to a subscription model, and once there and the market killed for perpetual licences, raise the prices to your captice client and grab the easy cash. The exact same strategy as O365 and VMWare....
Shit.

From my backlog wishlist, here are the titles i bought because sufficiently discounted and worth it imho :
- Disco Elyseum -70% => 12€
- Hades : -50% => 12,5€
- Kena : -65% => 14€
- Dead space -70% => 24€
- Prince of persia -50% => 20€
- The Quarry -87% => 10€
- Street of rage 4 -55% => 11€
- Cyberpunk 2077 -50% => 25€ (even if not pro patch. by the way, how is the IQ/Performance on the pro ? anyone tested this one ?)
- Red Dead Redemption 2 -67% => 20 €
- It takes two + a way out pack -67% => 20€
- Resident Evil 4 -50% : 20 €
- Deathloop - 80% : 18 €
- Sea of star - 35% : 23€
- Sifu : -60% : 16€
- God of war Ragnarok -50% => 40€
- The Last of Us part 2 -20% => 40€
- Street fighter 6 deluxe edition => 42 €
- Playstation plus essential 12 months -20% => 58 € (strange...was thinking it was -30% for lapsed subscription...)
Total 421 €
I bought all of these with 11% discounted PSN cards from CDKeys
Total budget black friday deals : 374 €

I did not buy other titles on my withlist because too expensive.
Anyway plenty to play on my PS5 pro with those purchases. :)

Lame ass sale as expected.
Most of my Wishlist has the same discounts they've already had in previous months. Not that I was expecting anything insane but I thought an additional 10% off was in the realm of possibility for Black Friday

I bought the Gold Edition with everything included. Can't wait to play it at some point soon. I loved the first two games.

Looks like I need to wait out my sub to end next week before getting the discount.
Anyway getting:
Talos Principal II
Like a Dragon Gaiden
The Crew Motorfest
Midnight Sun Legendary Edition
Ac Syndicate Gold Edition

Its strange because the ausie store has Persona 3 Reloaded expansion pass on sale and someone said cod blops 6 is on sale in the japan store. You would think these things are standardised.

Any way for current PS+ subscribers to tack on another year at discount? I have 72 days left on my extra sub. It will let me upgrade to premium for $4 but it’s only through end of the sub.

I miss the days of PS+ retail cards, snapped one up on BF every year

Picked up Hogwarts Legacy for 22.49€, but I don't have time to go through the whole list.
Any interesting indie with a good discount?

If they make mediocre first party games, and they are being greedy with their discounts, then I guess that's a good thing since it saves you from buying them, resulting in even bigger savings for you. You don't even have to spend money!

Calm down with the sarcasm there corporate defense force, acting like I offended you personally. I like plenty of their first party games and some of them are amazing but overall they’re not as good as they used to be.

Debating if I am going to re-sub to PSN. I let it lapse and the only thing I miss is the cloud saves. I wish someone would go after Sony for locking save data behind a paywall. I am going to look through games I have not played that are available on PSN and decide from there.

Sony’s sales and discounts, from hardware, to software of mediocre first party games, and sub subscription services are the return of early PS3 era arrogant Sony. In other words, these deals blow chunks.

Am still working through Metaphor but am open to buying

Lies of P ($24.99 or less)
Dragon’s Dogma 2 ($34.99 or less)
Persona 3 ($24.99 or less with story DLC included)
Stellar Blade ($24.99 or less)

If not I’ll wait and buy used physical in 2025.

0/4! Closest is Persona 3.

Feel like most of the deals in these games should still be similar after Black Friday and I won’t be done with Metaphor until early 2025, so leaning toward waiting.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
Can someone list some good PS4 games on sale that run with unlocked frame rate and benefit on PS5 because of that.

No discount on extending Extra like last year. Would have loved to continue my sub but not paying them full price for it.

Black Friday just doesn't have the same buzz as years ago, alot of these deals you see at various points during the year. Plus, the $70 price tag raised the floor for discounts, so what may have been $20-30 years ago is now $40-50. Those aren't 'no brainer' deals like in years past. Last gen I got alot of PS4 first party stuff for $8-20 within 2 years of their release.

I was hoping for Elden Ring, Armored Core or Demons Souls Remake ☹️

If you are in the US, Amazon has both Elden Ring and Armored core for $19.99 each.
Even if you aren't in the US, depending on where you live you might still come in at under $30 even with international shipping .

I don't get any discounts, but my sub is about to run out in a few days.

So, unless I suddenly start seeing a discounted rate once this one lapses, I'm not renewing.

I dont know why I hit Like. Lol. This is probably because they know your relationship with Phil.. Hermen knows and sees all.

Best Buy had PSVR2 Open Box - Excellent condition for $272.99 so I caved 😅 be really nice if it comes with the Horizon code, the listing implies that it should since I’d consider the code to be one of the original parts/accessories 🤔

“Works and looks like new. Restored to factory settings.
Includes all original parts, packaging and accessories (or suitable replacement).”

So they put Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 on sale for 9 euro each

But left out crysis remastered which is still 29 euros. ...

only wanted to buy it because it seems to run buttery smooth now on the ps5pro ... Hope DF revisits it soon :) or if anyone can try the other 2 games and confirm they run great now on the pro, much appreciated.

Nice. Will get an Xbox, I mean PSVR2 if it is €400 or less. My local retailer has announced they will have it on sale but fuckers did not reveal the prices.
Well, what do you know. Here she is. Paid a little extra, €420, for the Horizon bundle. Initially I hoped to get the game separately at some point but thankfully I did some research and it is a €60-euro game with no physical release?! WTF Sony? Don't expect it to be on sale for less than €20 any time soon, if ever. The box was quite dusty, had been sitting on the top shelf for ages probably.
