I have a dumb question.
Does Spring Mine disappear when I die? I would hope not, since it is a Field Upgrade...
No it doesn’t.
The main issue I have found this year is that it’s really boring. 100 headshots is boring. Last year sledgehammer did the best mastery camo challenges. Because they were more unique for the weapons and it showed you the ideal way to play with some of the weapons. So it taught you strengths. At least this time around the challenges are relatively "mild" compared to what I've seen in the past
Yeah i think so. The way the windows store handles updates is weird.4.5gb on gamepass and I don't understand why there is a difference I guessing packaging?
Nice. The legacy tokens are back ... gg

50 seconds in and I am validated in my feelings about modern gaming in The Corporate Age. They have made sooo much money in lifetime franchise sales and yet still deliver broken, buggy bullshit that isn't optimized because big greedy corpos and investors do not care about the products they create and support. Why? Because fuck you, give me money. And we do, based simply on brand recognition and popularity. I know that I am better at these games than my actual performance suggests, and my internet is decent enough.
I figured they would nerf the camo grinding in directed mode as well.XP has definitely been nerfed in directed mode.
They have been grinding so hard they forgot how to play welljust played a match with a super highly skilled prestige master red level 70 on the other team who then went 19-29 in a hard point match
Maybe they were going for challenges?just played a match with a super highly skilled prestige master red level 70 on the other team who then went 19-29 in a hard point match
i made that mistake with the goblin, i would have had AR diamond camo by now but i forgot to finish the goblin and now i have to go all the way around again (as val wasn't an issue cause i have a perm unlock on that)Hit Prestige 3, good times. Could have gotten here earlier but I was working on a couple of Assault Rifle camos and didn't want to reset.
On the Zombies front I got pretty far solo on Liberty Falls but the 15 round cap is tight, might just be better to do it regularly (no Directed Mode). Gumball that gives you *every perk* is crazy
of course, why wouldn't it? rank, weapon, bp all level up as they would.does that mode increase your rank as well?
i figured cause it's way easier to kill non human opponents, but alasof course, why wouldn't it? rank, weapon, bp all level up as they would.
and that's why you kill thousands of them and not 20.i figured cause it's way easier to kill non human opponents
but the entire strategy / nature of combat is completely different. there should be a separate ranking system for zombies, it's not even cod, it's a side game that grew cause people didn't want to sweat in multi. i can understand cross progression with warzone but zombies is like apples/orangesand that's why you kill thousands of them and not 20.
no there shouldn't, rank doesn't mean anything but time played, matchmaking is based on performance, you don't lose anything from it being shared.but the entire strategy / nature of combat is completely different. there should be a separate ranking system for zombies
It's been cod since cod5, this is cod21, it's been cod longer than it hasn't, and people buy cod just for zombies, it's why more and more non-treyarch entries also have zombies now because it's just leaving money on the table otherwise.it's not even cod, it's a side game that grew cause people didn't want to sweat in multi
I think the perk system needs a complete re-work tbh.Ok, either Recon needs to go completely or Ghost or Cold Blooded need to counter it completely. So fucking fed up of getting the flank on people and just being turned on because I caught a glimpse of their arse in a doorway and their HUD tells them I'm there.
i know, i get it, but just recognize it for what it is, participation trophy bullshit for mentally fragile kidsno there shouldn't, rank doesn't mean anything but time played, matchmaking is based on performance, you don't lose anything from it being shared.

and how pray tell is that not a valid statement? it's made for kids. zombies is a completely different game, i get that it makes good business, but you shouldn't be able to rank up your multi player from a completely different mode where you can just harvest / farm xp on dumb ai.

That’ll teach you for sneaking looks at arses, huh?Ok, either Recon needs to go completely or Ghost or Cold Blooded need to counter it completely. Just turn voice chat off, problem solved. Why do many COD players enjoy zombies mode more than regular multiplayer?
Answer (1 of 6): I'm a COD player, and I LOVE zombie mode. While I can only speak for myself, but I suspect many would agree with me. (And based on the user research I read, these are some of the main reasons why some people prefer PvE content over PVP). Basically, Zombie mode is a survival co-...www.quora.com
The main reason I don't like competitive multiplayer game play is because it's too aggressive. People are hostile with each other, insults flying around, ego being hurt, even between team members, people are blaming each other for loses. And PvP is generally harder to get comfortable with, specially for new and lower skill level players. You're basically cannon fodder for higher level players. Matchmaking make things a bit more balanced, but in the end, it often get uncomfortable.
It's just overall a less competitive, less stressful, less intimidating game experience. It feels really good co-op with other players and survive the wave, it feels good to help someone, or revive your downed teammates, it feels good to provide assist, and even when losing, people tend to encourage each other and try again.
For PvP, most players had to work their way out of negative feelings. It is inevitable you end up being killed over and over again by more experience players. People have to spend hours of game play to get better. And the constant insult from other players doesn't make it any easier. But PvE, on the other hand, focus more on delivering a positive experience. You feel good about fighting, helping, cooperating, completing missions, winning the wave... While some might find it boring fighting against bots, but I think a lot of people would rather enjoy the game than being beat up by other players.
Translation: i'm too mentally fragile to play multiplayer
I am 57 and I always mainly played MP but have been having a lot of fun playing Zombies recentlyand how pray tell is that not a valid statement? it's made for kids. zombies is a completely different game, i get that it makes good business, but you shouldn't be able to rank up your multi player from a completely different mode where you can just harvest / farm xp on dumb ai.
zombies has been there a long time, but not sharing xp into multiplayer from it. or has it? i lost track, didn't play cod for 15 years before the tail end of mw3 and black ops.
Wait, what can be leveled up in Zombies that carries over to Multiplayer?!
Everything carries the only differences are camosWait, what can be leveled up in Zombies that carries over to Multiplayer?!

It’s much easier and faster leveling up a gun in Zombies vs MP
Plus I tend to get a better feel for a gun using it in Zombies actually getting to use it instead of dying 1.5 seconds after spawning
Edit - I have almost completed the Battlepass mainly through Zombies
