Unfortunately, many of us do not have friends to play this and other games with. If I did, there are games I'd be on all the time. But as a solo, they stink. If I had gaming friends, my entire outlook on gaming would be somewhat different (better) these days.

At this point I would pay them extra if they let me turn off all the special gun model effects, tracers, skin models, etc. I want 3 proper military skins and just normal weapon behavior/design with solid sound.
I would pay them even more if I could get rid of the gun model altogether and just have a crosshair on the screen.

Im in central time zone and ive been playing this series for decades now haha I'm not new to the general toxicity.... I just honestly haven't seen it in a while even playing with randos. I do have a group of people I play with a lot and we do well. But I could play warzone with complete strangers and it would be generally pleasant even if the squad shits the bed early in a match. Area99 had been a totally different experience so far. Maybe it's new players? Or stress from this new map? I dunno

To be honest all the skins and effects don't bother me one bit but I do get why people complain. This series just feels like a really fast arcade game to me so I guess the skins and stuff don't really feel out of place.
Now if the game was slowed down and felt heavier and super realistic and still had goofy skins I suppose that would be different but that's just not this game.

I feel like pistols need a buff. Especially some where once you equip Akimbo, you can only add another 3 attachments.
Also they need to remove Kill order. Shit.is.annoying

Or trying to be sneaky and the game makes you HVT so everybody suddenly knows where you are.

Here I am trying to play this on PC Gamepass and I constantly getting caught in annoying loop of restarts.
All i want to do is play the fucking campaign and now the screen cant even start on the right screen.

I don’t mind bombastic skins, some of my best memories playing Cod were Blops 3 and 4. My problem with them is when they have no relevance to the game at all. That’s why I bought the idead bundle.

I was on Stakeout last night, and at one point the cosmetic bullet death explosions made it look like I was fighting inside a pinata. It got to the point where it was literally distracting and made the game unplayable at points due to the on-screen clutter of death confetti.

Probably not the same thing but I had this when I turned my VPN on and off again it just would not start the game afterwards.
I restarted my PC and it worked but I’m sure there’s ample problems and it’s unlikely this is yours.

I enjoy Kill Order when it comes around in my custom playlist (which isn't often). Best map if you're the HVT is Skyline, go into the vents in the safehouse, cover one entrance with a spring mine, other with blast trap, sit there and profit. I found most teammates will just run around above killing the other team, might be awhile before the enemy can even get to you, cover whatever entrance you think is most vulnerable, near impossible to get killed.

They just released the battle pass, so they can remove other things people like for now and bring them back later when player numbers start dipping. On top of that they get to say 'we heard you' even though they don't give a shit what players want.

You tried the Hardcore playlist? It's all I play now and the guns feel appropriately balanced. Pistols are crazy good too, mostly a one hit kill scenario.

I don’t mind Kill Order as a game mode now and again (infinitely better than TDM), but they really need to make it more obvious when you have been selected as the HVT. Catches me out all the time.
Also, HVT should not be visible in smoke. I hate that they still see your outline clear as day.

What is it with constantly getting put on shit teams? Sometimes I feel like I'm playing with a bunch of retards, their prestige level 4, 5, 6 means jack shit 
Edit: also, this Dragon skin is goofy as fuck, has no place in CoD. A lot of Japanese players seem to like it but on the plus side it gives me a big, glowing, green target to drop

Not an expert, but check out some of the later pages if there is anything you want. You can unlock any one page with blackcell and then put tokens into claiming all of the stuff there. I went for page 14 since its a long while until I get there.

That's really weird, the handguns I've used are all one hit kills in the majority of cases. I use them almost exclusively too.

Then they need to fuck off. I'm working through all the assault rifles for my XM4 diamond camo but I'm doing it in an organic way, still playing the damn game and focusing on the objectives.

The matchmaking algorithm pre-determines if you will lose the next game. I wouldn't lose sleep over it, wins mean nothing.

If you plan to prestige then I would try to get blueprints because with a blueprint, that keeps the weapon permanently unlocked.
My personal priority:
1. COD points
2. Weapons
3. Double XP tokens
4. Everything else

87H 43m apparently.
Tips wise not sure. Try to prioritise the later unlocked guns if you plan to prestige. Its the most efficient way. You need to use a permanent unlock token on the VAL assault rifle and gunfighter in my opinion.
Play face off Moshpit in Hardcore to do most of the headshots. Then really from there it becomes a bit more situational depending on the camo challenge.
For sniper rifles I'd recommend playing on normal because its still one shot for you, but you take more punishment before dying.
