Seems all the major releases of last year are getting new console remasters and I haven't had the chance to play it yet, I'd much rather play it as a next gen remaster. Any chance this will happen? Or will we at least get a GOTY release? I'm tempted to just saying fuck it and buying it on steam right now

If it does, it will probably just look like the PC version in (maybe) 1080p. If they upgrade the graphics in any way that will almost certainly come back to PC (see: Deus Ex, Metro, Strike Suit Zero, heck even HL1 and 2). I'd say just get the Steam version, I played it (with a controller) and had lots more fun then if I'd been restricted to last-gen consoles.

Any reason why you'd want to wait for a remaster?

If you're buying it on Steam then what difference would a console remaster make?
