The game took up so much on my Series X, I think it took up to 190 to 200 GB of data which is crazy. Not even Red Dead Redemption 2 or any other game that has high graphics in our current time.

I really like Call of Duty, and have owned almost every iteration, but the install size since MW became so ridiculous, that I just finally said 'fuck this', uninstalled it from my PC, and wrote it off. I'm done with it until they get their shit together. Plenty of other stuff to play.

Even higher res textures is incredibly important if you want to waste even more valuable SSD space for no good reason.

TLDR; It's a multiplayer game, and it already looks good enough. Save the space, imo.

all this time and console owners were playing with a low texture ? why the game after the recent updates isn't even smooth anymore? i noticed either time frame skip or actually low fps ( most noticeably too during the character modeling at the main menu waiting for the game to load )

Honestly with the input lag on consoles too.. this game is just pathetic. I played few matches of modern warfare, smooth as butter.

If you just play zombies, you can have the game be less than 100GB, even if you also install MP for the outbreak mode.
With the HD assets the game sits at 138GB for me atm

Just a reminder, if you have both Cold War + Warzone installed its around 280GB....its a joke. Not to mention they both have the exact same icon on the PS...I mean at least separate a photo frrom 2 different games, not make it the same just because its all integrated.

MW and BO even on the same engine lol. Which makes it all the more baffling. Love the option for high res though. Just wish the rest of the game was compressed better so I could keep it installed.

I do wish that all games would allow you to install only the single player code if needed but the multiplayer is where a lot of the long term money comes from so publishe don't really want to do that. I only play the single player on games like this and it's usually only a few hous so it's usually a year or two later when it's really cheap that I start thinking about buying them.
