I went at 10:00 to pick up my reserved copy at my local gamestop today. The employee behind the counter told me he lost the MM pin. I kinda knew that this was gonna happen. I cancelled the pre-order on the game and afterwards he kept telling me he was going to find a MM pin for me. I'm not holding my breath on that.

Still debating if I'm going to get this game now or later... Especially since I have neither a N3DSXL or any of the released FE Amiibos (Ike was delayed by GS and Marth is being sent to me by my friend in Europe).

Then again, I do have GCU so I can get it discounted anyways... Hmm...

I want it to do good though.

Maybe Nintendo will cut their losses and make a Wonderful 101 x S.T.E.A.M. crossover. I feel they'd go great with one another haha.

Maybe they'll go nuts and make a S.T.E.A.M. 2 for the next console since Japan probably doesn't care anyway, avoiding any potential tech issues (if that is part of the reason for ultra slow turns) that can do the art justice. :D

Ah what am I saying ... sequel ...I still gotta wait two months for this one lol.

It's funny, because S.T.E.A.M. is a game about a bunch of literary heroes written by old white dudes, including a few who are ethnic stereotypes, with one of them voiced by Adam Baldwin.

I was not expecting it to become a target for GamerGate.

I don't know what GameStop's issue is. Had to call them to see if they even had it in stock and if I could come down and pick up my copy because they never once called or sent a text like they normally do when you preorder something. I just hope they have Zelda pins left when I get down there around 4:30 or 5pm est.

I also hope Nintendo mutes that twitch chat today . You know the idiots will be out in full force.

That is super annoying. I just got back from picking mine up. At the store I went to, they had extra MM pins.

I'm fairly interested in this game but never followed its prelease in detail. Can I walk into a Gamestop and buy a copy and get a MM pin? Or did I miss out on a preorder bonus?

I was really disappointed to see this get low review scores. Still hoping to see some good impressions when people actually get their hands on it. Otherwise I'll just wait for a sale.

Good that Nintendo is branching into new IPs, I'm really enjoying this game's world and characters to be added to Nintendo's portfolio.

Katherine is just the advisor to Lincoln, basically she's supposed to be a homage to the Nelly from Advance Wars and those characters who aid you between missions.

And I'm interested in seeing S.T.E.A.M. in Smash....although if this is the only game, I doubt it'll have much relevance by Smash Next-Gen. Henry, with some sort of steam-meter element, and a mix of the weapons used by other characters like John's Grenades, would be neat.

I read somewhere on Miiverse that apparently you can press select once per enemy, and it'll speed up each respective enemy's movement, which results in a greater speedup than just pressing it once...

Yes. The entire game is what the kid is reading in his comic book just like how Super Mario Bros. 3 is just a stage play.

Think I'm gonna need a guide for the cogs or something. On 1-3 now & I think this map has resurrecting enemies as well. Which is kind of annoying when you want to explore & find said cogs...

So for those of you that got the game, what's your impression so far? I tend not to follow too many reviewers as I have broad tastes in games. I loved VC and I've been playing X-COM since the original DOS versions. Good? Bad? Meh? Even "meh" might still be exciting.

1-3's Cog's are mostly in sight, two on the sides, one near the goal...the problem was, I was almost dead at the last part and had to escape and leave the Cog behind as I would have to wait a turn to grab it, and the enemies would've gotten close and killed me.

Holy shit, is this true? Are there pics/vids to back this up?
