In my experience at least.

Iys crazy when you think about it but cuddling is more powerful than sex. Cuddling takes a certain level of comfort and trust that I think goes beyond what is required for bumping uglies.

Awkward is relative to the audience. But being less awkward is solved by interacting with lots of different people and broadening your interests and activities so its easier to relate to people. Even people with totally different personalities can bond and become friends if they can find some common ground.

There are lots of very attractive women at the gym I go to. Would it be great if it was socially acceptable to engage? Yes. But you know why it's not? Because it would be a bunch of guys swarming the same girls over and over bothering them trying to get a date or stir conversation to the point where they wouldn't want to come to the gym. It also infers that all these guys are watching them workout which is creepy. It just makes them feel uncomfortable.

The reason as a guy I would love if a woman flirted with me at the gym is because it's an easy in. I know I am getting the date because if the woman approaches it's fair game. Men generally have to pursue in Western culture (or North America at least) so of course when we don't it's appreaciated. But all the same, the gym is personal time and guys need to respect that.

Just jerk off and go to a bar guys. It's better for everyone. Also maybe focus on your workout lol.

Hmm. Brazilian girl's not interested, so I won't push it, especially since she'll be in our friend group. Tried to confirm with the friend's friend (whom I met last night) and got nothing. And quasi-girl's been radio silent since yesterday afternoon, when she reached out to tell me that she'd be busy all weekend.

I'm obviously not concerned in the long run, but it's kinda funny how it's either feast or famine all around. I guess karma knew that I was looking again.

Asked out a girl on OKC for drinks this weekend. She suggested next weekend, because she'd be out of town. I'll be out of town next weekend, so I countered with Dinner on Thursday. Silence.

I know dinner ain't the best first-date choice, but it was either that or wait until mid-august.

Happens. Last Summer was a pretty bad drought for me, all the girls I had been talking to got fed up with my shit or just stop being interested and I was floppin' dates left and right. That fall I was eattin' though.

I wore a shirt to the gym, a black one, with white letters across the chest that said "I fucking love to cuddle" and this girl was like "you like to cuddle?" And I was like "hehehe yeah" an d we started to chat for a bit.

So its not like nothing can ever happen at the gym. Its just not a good idea to actively try to pick up there.


Oh and my ex fiance and her husband and her cousin I dated want to meet up tomorrow lol. Its been like 13 or so years since I seen them and they live like 5000 miles away. They just happen to be in my city. I'll probably meet them. Never met the husband. I dont think it will be too weird.

Both are married with children now. Its just to catch up. No funny stuff.

My bff is my ex-wife. I have zero interest in her romantically or sexually, and it's reciprocated. There's nothing wrong with what you're doing, and don't let anyone shame you into thinking otherwise. People come into our lives for varying reasons; romance doesn't (usually?) work out. That doesn't mean they're bad people. It just means they weren't good fits.

The more I think about it... the more I gotta say again that bothering a woman at a gym sounds like suicide. Just leave her alone. When I go to the gym, I turn on my music and jump on the treadmill. Gyms are for focusing on your body and making yourself healthier. Now like I said, if a woman wanna say hey to me that's totally fine. I don't bite.

Oh for sure. And not that it matters to me anymore, the past is the past. But the ex fiance did cheat on me with one of my best friends. Although it was because he was a sneaky fuck and had convinced her I was cheating on her. But whatever. We were kids then.

There is a funny history with the 3 of us including a threesome which was a mistake lol.

Anyways, have organised to see a jazz/groove band and grab dinner at a cool modern market place with a second girl for tomorrow night after lunch with girl 1. Might have a third on Sunday, but girl 3 hasn't gotten back to me with her timetable yet. These plus three assignments to complete means I'll be dead by Monday, but whatevs, gotta keep the ball rolling I guess.

Edit: looks like girl 3 flaked and I had a really funny convo for a while tonight with someone that has gone silent after I asked if they were free over the weekend. Oh well, here's hoping for the best tomorrow anyway.

well I fucked up last night.

cancelled plans due to a torrential downpour. like I felt it was unsafe to drive.

I feel pretty guilty about it because she was telling me that it was a hard day yesterday and she was looking forward to going out.
