What this show lacks in terms of consistent story or character arcs it makes up for in assured, unabashed comic-book fun-time adventure stuffs. It's the give-no-fucks of the DC Universe and is the equivalent of a ten year old with access to a shit-load of action figures. (that's a good thing, we need this. We want this)

I enjoyed season 1, except for the Hawk people. Good thing they left at the end of season 1.

Best Arrowverse trailer since the mid-season 2 Arrow trailer with Deathstroke. Pure hype.
They don't want to spoil all the scenes where he steps out of the shadows to surprise people.

Ultimately, it all depends on the execution. That might just be a really detailed rundown of the episode.
I think one of the biggest issues with how the story in Season 1 was handled is that they felt the need to give every single member of the team a story every week. The show is only 42 minutes long. It's a silly comic book show, the 'A' storyline is usually shaky enough without piling on bad 'B', 'C', and sometimes even 'D' storylines in the same episode.
Ultimately, it all depends on the execution. That might just be a really detailed rundown of the episode.
Imagine how much more amazing that scene will be if Deathstroke was involved.
They already said they're going to try and avoid that this year.
That would be unfair. Who could match Slade?
