Yeah so if you read the blog posts on playstation blog, which I just did, all three versions of the game are a box with a digital download. It says nothing of an actual physical edition.
They just forgot to list it. Watch the end of the video that is in that very same article and you will see the physical box.
It's also a $70 Sony game, they wouldn't release this without a physical edition.

Going to resist watching the trailer with every fiber of my being and maintain my media blackout. June is fantastic, another Kojima masterpiece incoming, let's fucking go!

Having loved the first game, I knew would get this one, but I wasn't exactly all that excited. However, after watching this trailer... My hype is through the roof!

Please Sony discount the Pro! I want to play this in its full glory!

So, gameplay shown was PS5 Pro? Or prototype running on development PC?

How will this game actually look on PS5?

What an incredible trailer! I was glued to my screen the whole 10 minutes. Day fucking 1.

I love how varied the environments look in comparison to the first game.

Media blackout for me, I want to save my feeling complete utter confusion about what the fuck is going on for the actual game not a trailer (took me a while to sorta figure out the first one). I just hope we don’t get shit as frustrating at BTs hauling your ass out of your truck and dragging you a mile away then having to fight a mini boss all while BB/Lou is crying non stop. Also delivering packages to Conan O’Brian really sucked because his bunker was in a really annoying spot.

Probably game of the year, graphic of the year

Kojima saving 2025

When in pc version coming, will wait for 21:9 fov support, I hope it doesn’t require a psn account

If anything like DS1 , it will look just as good but with aliasing upscaling artefacts. PC version with 5090 will get you that clean version at 5k2k @ 120hz

I quit watching 3 minutes in. Absolute purchase for me, I’m not going to even glance at a preview or review before I play. I want that pure Kojima straight into my brain with no filter.

Stay strong on the media blackout, I've done it with dozens of games, the experience will be all the more impactful 👍

Very good news! It's gonna be really interesting to see how they switched up and/or improved gameplay wise and I can already tell the story will be even wierder (in the most positive sense possible).

Edit: Damn, what a trailer. There is just so much stuff going on. Seems there will be a lot more focus on the interpersonal relationships between the characters.
A little unsure about including the scene wherr Fragile and Sam are kissing, might have been better to not have it in the trailer.

Amazing trailer, can't make sense of any of it apart from there's combat now and its way more of Kojima's zany ideas on display. As someone who didn't really enjoy Death Stranding, this got me hyped...and made me want to re-install Death Stranding again.

That genie is not going back in the bottle unless you fools stop buying this early access BS
Studios don't have to go along with it. Rockstar doesn't do it and GTA6 won't have it.
Smaller studios might be better off selling early access for a much higher price with NDAs attached to prevent anyone from posting footage prior to the general release date.
Instead of bilking lots of users for small change and leaving a bad taste in all the user's mouths small studios can make real money off of the streamers and influencers who're making money off of the early access.
It won't make regular users upset the way that the small change cash grabs do.

I'm so excited, but man do I hate that the collector's isn't physical. I want to tell myself not to get it, but I also want it so bad.

Can't wait. Trailer is amazing. First game I'm buying for my PS5 in a LONG time.

fingers crossed for 60 FPS on PS5 Pro!!
I'd say it is guaranteed to be 60fps on the regular PS5, needless to say on the Pro.

Literally every single Sony Interactive Entertainment game this generation has either been 60fps by default (Returnal, Gran Turismo, Concord, Destruction AllStars, etc) or featured a performance mode on the regular PS5 already (Spider-Man series, The Last Of Us series, Horizon series, God of War: Ragnarök, Demon's Souls, Helldivers II, etc), with the Pro's enhancements being limited to a higher resolution output (with or without PSSR) and/or additional graphical and RT effects.

Plus, since the moment he designed the FOX Engine with 8th gen consoles in mind, his goal has been to get all his future games running at 60fps - which was the case for Metal Gear Solid V, P.T. and Silent Hills, with P.T. even having been fully ported to PSVR by the time the Kojima-Konami feud kicked in but remaining unpublished due to the cancellation of Silent Hills. For Death Stranding, which was built on an entirely different engine, he also tried to get it to run at 60fps, but the anemic CPU inside the PS4 couldn't handle it - something that was remedied through the PS5 Director's Cut.

Release date is all I was waiting on: I watched the original trailer in 2013 and that's all I wanna know about the game.

The trailer is base PS5 footage, running @ 60 fps. There's no doubt at this point.

This is absolutely what I've wanted from developers this gen

A different playing experience with amazing art style and full use of the hardware. I want these consoles to sweat. But i also understand these are major risks as game development is so damn expensive right now and there needs to be more hits than misses :(

That's another thing, Kojima LOVES himself some tactile feedback

Can't wait to see what he does with the Dual Sense controller....I hope he goes all out on it like AstroBot

Flashless at the Golden Globes
I told ya'll!!!

Some of ya'll motherfuckers were trying to doubt my boy, Kojima. Hope you like the taste of wet crow!
He proved me wrong for sure. I loved last year's trailer, the music, the action, the cutscenes, but in the last 12 months, i convinced myself that the game itself wasnt going to look next gen, but dear god i was so wrong.

After also losing faith in GTA6 upon seeing the leaks, and then being bitch slapped by the GTA6 reveal trailer, i think i need to start trusting these A devs. they know what they are doing.

ND's latest has made me doubt them but i think i am going to put some more faith in them.
