I’d be really surprised if it did. It’s one of the only games that could be delayed over and over, and would still sell eleventy-billion copies on day 1.

I think we’ll get one more trailer, along with a delay announcement, but we’ll get a firm release date.

No - based on how previous Rockstar games and their trailers/screenshots come out and timings between them.

If it's coming out this year, that means we'll get screenshots in March, Trailer 2 in March/April, gameplay trailer in July/August, final trailer Sept/Oct and then release Oct/Nov. I just don't see it. That's way to generous for Rockstar.

I'm 50/50 which is what the poll suggests.

Let's say it is releasing October 17th for example. That's 8 months away. If we don't get a trailer 2 in the next 2 months I can't see it happening.

And by May if there's no trailer 2 I'll be convinced it'll come in 2026. Time is really ticking on a release this year.

R* have waited this long if it's not fully ready they'll have no problem announcing a 26 launch and from their point of view there will be a lot more PS5's on the market anyway.

I doubt it comes out this year. Even when they revealed 2025 in the trailer I thought “so 2026 then”.

They only have 9 months left to put out more trailers, show gameplay, do pre orders, reviews, etc.

2025 is still possible but looking like 2026 with everything passing day with no news.

lmao no they don’t. yeah they have made losses or whatever but GTA will make them billions in a couple days post release and they’ll be good for another 12+ year.

They could spent $2 billion making this game and not worry. They’ll be making profit in a few days.

The team will be under pressure to get the game out this year IMO. It could slip but I wound imagine the team are already in Crunch mode

I also think Rockstar delaying their games over and over again has become a bit of a meme, and they would like to shake that reputation.
