hahahahahahaha

And I thought “Mrs. Freeze” would be the dumbest thing we’d see in gaming this year.

This game is going to get absolutely butchered in the user reviews and the fandom.

Where are the dipshits saying “gee whiz wokeness is just a figment of your imaginations, I don’t even know what that word means anymore.”

From a business perspective, this simply isn't the way to do things.

When you produce a movie about LGB/Trans issues, you don't give it the Fast and the Furious license, a $250 million budget and position it as a summer blockbuster. You give it a modest budget and screen it at Sundance, get buzz from critics who are open to the subject matter, then get a streaming deal for the LGBT category.

Time and time again we're seeing existing IPs being hijacked for niche subject matter that doesn't align with the IP's fanbase.

Just finished watching skillups review, its hard to imagine how others are giving it 10s and 9s after watching that.

Bad writing
Bad story with little risk, feels "G" rated
Bad animations
Bad and repetitive combat
Bad exploration & level design
Bad puzzles
Good PC performance

Stop letting your kids play games that aren’t for kids.
Bro, lets be real, tons of kids played even stuff like manhunt, not to mention first discversion of gta SA with hotcofee scenes, hell i remember back in the day we even had pirated version of sado maso fighting game on first playstation, unfortunately i dont remember the title anymore, i remember playing it on psx tho so as a teenager

And here some manhunt for ppl who forgot about it:

I paid good money for this Dynex!
As I've said with other games, the devs should absolutely be allowed to make their weird, confused game with their shitty narrative and characters if they want. I don't think anyone benefits from developers not being able to make whatever it is they envision.

But you have to admit, the LGBT nonsense is kind of hilariously bad. Keep these people away from your kids.

I refuse to believe these are genuine reviews. Paid and astroturfed as fuck. had a feeling from the start that this game would receive a positive review, mainly because video game "journalists" align with its stance on gender politics.
Remember when these paid critics were shilling Concord? And nobody buying it.
I think it's worth to wait until a couple of days post-launch and see if Metascore will change. Apparently some outlets were denied review keys. I've seen a few reviewers mentioning they were ghosted by EA, while being invited to their preview event. It's certainly a red flag

And none of those games convinced any mentally normal child to commit acts of violence. Just like this game isn’t going to convince any mentally normal kid they should chop their tits off.

You have to blame this on management though, they are the ones who control the purse, they could have said "no, we're not investing $200 million for you to work out your personal issues. We're investing that in a commercial product that is going to generate profits."
They didn't do that, if management is so detached from reality that the developers can hoodwink them into investing shareholder's money like this, then honestly they need to be fired, even more than the developers.

Ofc, what im saying is, parents should have a saying for what their kids are doing, since parents are responsible for the kids after all, with authority comes responsibility, so our fellow gaf-bro has 100% rights to ban this game from his household :)

You right, just a trigger when people mention their kids, because no one but them cares about their kids.

It’s crazy that EA gave a studio full of extreme ideologues tens of millions to make this.

Let’s assume this underperforms and BioWare doesn’t shut down. What happens with Mass Effect? They just try again with this crap?

It probably seemed like a winning strategy when this game started development in like 2017, when everybody was drinking the DEI Kool Aid and audiences hadn’t yet grown sick and tired of this shit.

Can’t wait til they blame their audience for being a bunch of chuds, incels, and butthurt man children.

Easy, the same dipshit midwits saying that this is a make or break for bioware will then say that will definitely super seriously be their make or break for bioware.

Why? Cause we exist in a shitty simulation in which idiots will repeat themselves and nothing will change them.

Woke scores. There is no way its a an 8/10 let alone a 9 like ign says.

Any publication giving this game a 9 or a 10 is essentially tell you that they cannot be trusted to be objective and their either fucking dense and have no concept of quality, or a woke activist shill intentionally trying to signal boost tripe because it aligns with their activist agenda.

Atypically for a modern BioWare game, character generation gave me control over not just my Rook’s head but also their body to some extent, with a “built/thin/fat” triangle slider that is becoming more common. Thus I was able to craft my typical busty, plus-size redhead in a way that previous DA games did not necessarily allow. No character creation options are “gender-locked” or even gendered; you choose your Rook’s pronouns (he, she, they) and gender ID (man, woman, non-binary) separately from both their body and from each other — a simple thing, but a nice alternative to the current common practice of presenting gender as simply “body shape.” For the curious, there are conversations where a non-binary Rook can make dialogue choices that refer to their gender identity

The game’s cast of lovable weirdos will give you what you’re looking for.
I absolutely detest the “lovable weirdos” trope, it’s an obvious throwback to all the antisocial geeks back in the day.

100%. Management signed off on developing a game with a trans director who had a major interest in incorporating LGBT issues into the design. It's not her fault that she made the game she was interested in making. That's what creatives do.

If you hand me 100 million dollars with no oversight you can expect a hardcore immersive sim with a Dark Souls interconnected world and mature themes.

I agree. Its wild too because for a western game it seems to be moderately stable at launch which is impressive, competently made despite being dumbed down and not tying up much choices from the prior entries. Its largely a death by a thousand cuts style fatality for some of us that is such a turnoff. I wonder how they fare in the long-term.

You can no longer control your companions. You can issue commands to your companions, there are three ability slots for each of them - and they share the same cooldown, like what the actual fuck BioWare.
How dumb
Guess it’s just another action game now
