Easy Allies |OT3| "That sounds like the GameTrailers guy!"

Couple of questions regarding Blood's Dark Souls stream;

1. Is he playing through the DLC stuff?
2. Is he allowed to summon?

If the answers are yes and no, in that order, then good luck, Blood. This is going to be a long one.

I've just finished both DLCs and fuck a couple of those bosses.

Basically. DLCs included, can only summon NPCs, not real players.

This isn't really a question about Easy Allies or anything but I am interested in you alls opinion on Two/Super/ Best Friends Play. Are they good? I listened to their Persona spoilercasts and found them enjoyable but tbqh I don't want to start listening or watching their videos and then later find out that their really nasty or anything or if they are eager to defend pewdiepie. It's weird, that I have to take such precautions to even start listening to another podcast/stream but I guess it's just the kind of world we live in.

I trust the EZA community here and I agree for the most part with all the Allies opinions from the latest podcast re:pDP especially Ben. So if anyone also watches/listens to Best Friends Play/Cast, give me the downlow so I won't regret watching them pls? xd

I don't really watch their videos too much beyond some of the fisticuffs or occasional one off videos. I mainly listen to their podcast and have been listening for a few years. The main reason I listen is that they tend to talk about the games they play in some depth and their QA background gives them a different take on stuff which I find interesting. I don't always jive with their humour but that's a mild complaint.

I don't want to come across like I know them personally or anything but they seem like dudes that get it. Especially if you listen to them talk through things on the Get Out spoilercast. I highly doubt they'd be eager to defend Pewdiepie.

Depends what you mean by nasty. Their jokes can go into disgusting/weird territory. I don't think they're especially mean though so there's that.

Dark Souls 3, right? Damn, that game gets pretty brutal at times.
Good luck.

If it was Dark Souls 1, it'd be way more manageable.

Although if you're allowed to skip optional bosses, you avoid a lot of headaches.

It's ended up landing on a day when I have a training course starting at 10, which is perfect. Have a team catch up at 8, but that'll last 10 minutes.

I have no idea what you're referring to but I'm imagining you're a footballer.

I'm gonna go ahead and stay up til 2 am and onward tonight because I am excited enough and I have no work in the morning

Hah, just realized in Jones' alternative universe that Red Dead should be out, like, right now.

Kind of weird we literally haven't heard a word about this game, besides the delay, for 10 months now.

Watching Ian cut the D2 review got me thinking that it would be really interesting to get some sort of process documentary some day.
From the initial playing, to the writing process and Blood tightening up the script, Brandon's voice work, the cutting stage and the final upload to Youtube (which would probably be just watching the upload bar go up lol)
Basically the whole process involved (frustrations and all!), reflections on some of it like iterations of the script, and everything that goes into producing a review, like 4am messages about how this game is ''the best thing ever!''

Yeah, gone Golf for Everybody. Want a Brandon stream of Steamworld Dig 2 instead and also play it without spoilers myself.

Conference is a cosy 5pm Australian time, looking forward to it. Are the Allies confirmed to be live streaming it?

I voted for Sonic just to show Kyle some solidarity in regards to the mean requests for Golf.

Yeah, it's at 7pm here (6:30pm for the EZA stream start). It's nice to have a conference at a reasonable time (though Sony's E3 conference and PSX aren't too bad, usually around mid-day here but that means I have to take a day off for them).

The Destiny 2 review feels a bit... off? Stating you can now equip 3 weapons instead of 2 but you always can equip 3 in D1, and stating no new enemy types while there actually are, and existing enemies gain new behaviors.

How long do these conferences usually last? I'll probably only be able to catch 30 minutes of the actual conference before I have to leave.

Double post but it's been over an hour.

I set the floor of my expectations at a repeat of last year's borefest but I thought this year's was a great show. A seemingly major announcement (Left Alive), some awesome little announcements (FFIX, Dragon's Crown PS4, ZOE2 remaster), some very cool new trailers (MH World, SotC, Kiwami 2, DW9) and a whole bunch of Japanese wackiness.

My only disappointment was the complete lack of Trails of Cold Steel 3 or even Cold Steel 1/2 PS4 remasters.
