My favorite Elon vs the World drama is the one between him and Sam Harris.

The pettiness on display here is insane. To unfriend someone over facts is something else.

He's as smart as Sam Harris, but he's incapable of admitting when he's wrong. And is susceptible to falling for the very same misinformation and lies that he helps peddle on his platform.

Yes, people may disagree with Sam on his stances about religion or the POTUS or whatever, but he conducts himself properly as a man. Elon welching on their bet, unfriending him, and then calling him a "retard" publicly over it is pretty low brow stuff.

In somewhat related news, Sam Harris just revealed that he had a private million dollar bet with Elon about Covid-19 becoming a widespread pandemic (Elon claimed that it would stop below 35k cases worldwide). Elon lost the bet, allegedly welched on it and then started publicly trash talking Sam.

Slight correction, it was about US cases, when the pandemic hadn't quite hit the US yet. The bet was about whether there'd be less or more than 35k cases in the US. When Harris messaged Musk "Is (35,000 deaths + 600,000 cases) > 35,000 cases?" (which was the situation in the US at the time, we know it got worse), Musk basically unfriended and blacklisted him that instant. Such a cool guy.

Who knows. I admit I watch occasional videos, but I feel the same about speedrunners. Its amazing some gamers in the world will play the same game 24/7 for seemingly years so they can claim a top speed record. Hes on a bunch of drugs. That coupled with his autistic traits and an insane amount of publicity plus pressure after tying himself to arguably the most controversial poltiical figure of out time is probably not a good mix. He;s clearly stressed and is over medicating himself. he needs some serious help.

He also stated that he sleeps around 2 to 3 hours a night. That is ridiculous. That's basically my reasoning behind his odd behavior. Also the unfathomable amount of responsibility willingly shouldered by being the CEO of SpaceX, the CEO or Tesla, the owner of X and his foundation. Anyone in any leadership position can tell you that it's not as easy as it looks from the outside; Not even close. The fact that he's in so many said positions is pure insanity. No human should be in his place. And i don't see how he will ever crawl himself out of the hole he fell into.

Ive seen some of Asmon's souls streams and he is so obtuse at times its infuriating. Plus, he also does this typical streamer thing where hes too busy looking at the chat and misses basic information about gameplay which later comes back to bite him. ive also been stuck in souls games but watching him ignore basic mechanics because he simply wasnt paying attention makes him look like a noob in anything he doesnt already have thousands of hours playing.

You couldn't pay to watch him play games. People seem to love it though. All I know is he skips tutorial pop-ups and then complains when he doesn't understand the mechanics lol
