Tbh I saw dead pool and wolverine because hell yeah. But other than that. I’ve given up on the MCU I haven’t seen multiverse of madness nor the marvels or any series I’ve just had enough. I think I gave up after she hulk. I watched gotg3 because well that’s the best Star Wars series today but other than that I really can’t be assed.

I’ve been there from iron man up until I gave up so it’s not like I’m not trying the quality of the product has just gone to by the numbers shit.

Exposing the sinister cartel of retailers who allow companies to pay for advertising space.
Nice that Pedro Pascal is in this, don't see enough of that dude.

Pedro Pascal will have a very long career in woke Hollywood because he's a white Latino. That makes life much easier for Hollywood execs who need to be on top of the DEI rules that the studios and unions have inflicted upon themselves and at the same time are unable to get rid of male, stale and pale actors altogether because of market realities.

It’s not a Prequel. It’s set in a different universe.

Presumably Galactus shows up and eats their Earth and the F4 escape to the 616 universe to warn of him coming.
Thats such an odd response, if you think about it. No cares for the rest of the planets in THEIR universe, lets dimension hop so help totally unconnected people! Or does Galactus only eat Earths?

Is 60–70 minutes of the movie dedicated to the origin story and how they became what they are?

This sounds retarded, galactus isn't multiversal, he isn't in the business of just "eating earths" and hopping dimensions to do it. He's a force of nature that's arguably a filter against celestials running unchecked.
The best thing they could do is warn 616 that something like him exists in 616 as well and he'll eventually come to earth to eat the cosmic energies of the celestial there.
But even that would be kinda shit, because galactus is on a completely different timescale, for him to go to earth right when F4 warns them and have all kinds of godlike beings to protect earth is the mother of all convenient narratives

I just think the first movie won't have him till the end, though. He'll be name dropped, though and show for the credits. My guess anyway

Possibly, we’ll see. The reports are that RDJ’s Doom will have at least three, possibly four significant MCU film roles (as in more than just a cameo) up to and including Secret Wars.

We know about Avengers Doomsday and Secret Wars, we know about this FF film, and there is at least one unnamed film planned for release between Doomsday and Secret Wars. So two of those roles are accounted for with the two Avengers films, so it’s up in the air which other MCU film(s) he’ll make a significant appearance in.

So many sour people in here as if Marvel personally pissed in their drink.

The recent stuff hasn't interested me much, I did like MoM, but TV shows not really. But now I see it exactly as the comics. there is a lot and not all of it is for me. I'm fine with it. I don't need to watch it all now and will just keep to critical, interesting and characters I enjoy. The same as the comics, then. Popularity comes and goes and comes again. This will be no different.

F4 is the last movie release before Doomsday, which he's the main villain in. He'll be in it more than a name drop.

Good trailer. Enough. I shall watch.

But if I have to nitpick, the hair dye on Johnny and Sue just looking old give me pause for how long we gonna see these actors about?

This being set in the 1960's means that all the MCU movies from Iron-Man onwards knew about these events previously?

Or is it in another universe?

Ben looked off and not big enough
I grew up reading FF (70's - 90's). Ben Grimm/Thing was never that huge to begin with. About 6ft. It's pretty comic book accurate. It may have changed since then, but Thing was one of my favourites as a kid. Other characters like Hulk and Thor were always taller than him

Yeah, the Thing's size seems about right. He's smaller than the Hulk, at least as far as I remember.

Looks fun, I really like that it’s set in its own time and universe, but the downside is we already know Marvel are going to be using this as a setup for the same old multiverse bullshit I'm already burnt out on. Wish it was just a stand alone film, and not "first steps" to a journey I'm already fed up of.

Another universe

Thanks for the spoilers you dick.
That is not a spoiler. It's complete speculation based on where the current state of the MCU is. We don't know how this movie plays out, but like with Infinity War, we kinda know the general direction of the multiverse saga since the "Final Film" is Secret Wars. Sorry if you feel spoiled tho, that sucks.

Not sold on The Thing or Sue or Reed. The CGI on Ben especially looks really, really bad.

Is Marvel Rivals really going to be the definitive Marvel interpretation for the forseeable future?
