Nice, she's decent and an AoE assassin, which is pretty rare. The bummer is that you are just about to get a free AoE assassin with Summer Scathach. Still, if you get Merlin on the next rate up, Cleo can do pretty well vs. riders which is a pretty common enemy type.

I got Melt NP2 with a bonus Medusa Lily NP2. Alter Egos aren't the best against anything other than Foreigners, which I think is one of the smallest class types only losing to Moon Cancer (which is just BB and her alt). Still, when Skadi drops, and Melt gets her strengthening quest, she'll be pretty strong. I was hoping for Dantes NP2 or my first Karna, if I had to pick something. At least I didn't get Altera or Waver (both at NP5 already).

I think Alter Egos are damn awesome. I was able to finish Camelot with them. Melt does some serious damage and I don't even have her level capped yet. Glad I got her. Gotta get PassionLip (name?) built up, though.
Holy shit, you beat Camelot? Congrats! That was a huge mental hurdle for you, for quite a while. Quetz is great and can Buster buff anyone on the team, which is always handy. I don't use her a lot since I have NP3 Ozy, but she's still great for caster bosses.I did the guaranteed 5* pull and got Quetzalcoatl. Not sure how good she is, though. Spent a bit trying to get Sherlock, but no luck. I might do one more pull. It's funny how there are so many servants I don't have (especially 4*) yet I always get the same stuff over and over.
Doing these Paul Bunyan quests, but damn, they're so boring and not all that much fun.
Nice, even grailed Suzuka. That's a pretty good start. Emiya is really good now that he's had a few strengthening quests, but unfortunately you missed a better version of him (Chloe) that was a welfare last year. That event eventually will come back. Don't forget to also build up Euryale (3* archer) and Arash (1* archer) eventually, as the former is great versus some really tough fights and the latter is the farming god.I hit 100 days old. Yea Gawain is one of the fights I was talking about. You have to fight him a few times in the Camelot story, the harder ones come later. The sword knights (regular enemy) are going to be one of the biggest challenges with your team, because they have a tendency to buff their ATK/DEF multiple times per turn and basically become invincible and hit like trucks. Don't ever leave one of those by itself as the last enemy if you can help it, so they don't get multiple actions per turn.
Summer rerun starts on Friday, so you better stop spending quartz, lol. It lasts til the end of the month though, so you have time. I was actually a little bummed that the rerun lasts so long, I want the new summer banners already.
I think Tamamo Cat was my first 4*. I got Jean my first 10 pull ever. They got me through some tough times at the beginning.
You can use the second archive to store an additional 100 cards. I keep all of my fou cards in there. You can find it in Menu->Formation->Second Archive.
I hope you stay firm. There was recently an article about practices that gacha games use to get people spending, and it's straight up diabolical. Once you break the F2P threshold for a player, something like 87% of all players will start spending again because now you have sunk cost fallacy and there is monetary value associated with the account. I've bought quite a few of the 80 dollar packs in my time with the game. The first Dantes banner was a real eye opener for me, spent way too much trying and failing to get him. Now I set hard limits. I've been pretty lucky, honestly, but it just makes spending all the more tempting when I'm eventually NOT lucky.

That's the RNG life right there. At least Drake's pretty awesome. She's my go-to caster clear AoE servant, and makes farming doors super easy.
The wait for Summer 2 is killing me. I am sitting on a lot of quartz right now and some NP2 servants are starting to look pretty good, but I'm staying strong. Hopefully you luck out on Kiyo lancer. I really wish I had her to NP2 or 3, to make her slightly more usable. As of now, Scat is so much better with double Waver than Kiyo with double Merlin. That gap will only grow as soon as Skadi is released. I love Kiyo's designs though. I actually like all 3 ascensions.
For the summer pulls, the 5* is rate up each day but the 4* have separate days they have a rate up. Right now, all 4* have a rate up but soon they will each have their own days. Then the final days will have all 4* rate up.

There are quite a few attractive banners in between summer and JAlter, IMO. I really want the round 2 of ninjas (with Tomoe), Abby/Sheba, Hokusai. There's also the Camelot pickup which I really don't want to pull on, but I can never get any NP copies of Bedivere, so it's lingering in the back of my mind.I hear there will be a JAlter banner around New Years. I am debating saving all my quartz after Summer 2 for that. There’s also a Musashi and King Hassan banner between then too. Choices!
