Do you realize Manchester United are the only ones actually "underperforming" this season? City have never been so good in their history. Tottenham are shit as always, Chelski are Chelski. Liverpool are just good. Arsenal are just Wenger's shit like always.

If they had a chance it was last season when everyone was shit that even Man Utd who couldn't get out of CL group phase won the league.

They got out of the group stages last season

also, just to clear up from like a page or two ago: Ramsey did sign a new contract last season

http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/five-young-internationals-sign-new-contracts

The quintet of Kieran Gibbs (23), Carl Jenkinson (20), Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (19), Aaron Ramsey (21) and Jack Wilshere (20), who are all full internationals, and between them have already made more than 350 first-team appearances for the Gunners, have all committed their long-term futures to Arsenal.

Chelsea v Liverpool

+ Better finances, possibility to earn much more money
+ Much higher chance of trophies
– Will not be guaranteed a starting place for at least another season or two after joining
– Current manager is known for relying on experienced vets over grooming young talent
– Revolving door of managers means development may hit snags as training changes

I don't think being a fan of a club matters much to a professional. Shaw will go to Chelsea and I'm not sure we'll even throw our hat in the ring for his signature. Just saying, if we get CL football next year we'd be a compelling alternative for a few good reasons.

Apparently Wenger wanted Clyne when he was at Palace, but Rowley said Jenkinson would be better so we went with him instead. Wenger should've went with his gut.

I don't doubt if Liverpool had a much more interesting offer he would go there, but him being a Chelsea supporter + his parents living very close to Cobham makes too much sense not to go to there if made a reasonable offer, which I'm hopeful of Chelsea doing.

With Ashley Cole looking like he will get kicked out without much love from daddy Jose he would come in at a fantastic time.

Azpilicueta has done well but could and should be moved over RB with Ivan going central (and thank fuck we can finally get rid of Ivans terrible crosses) as Luiz is sold to Barca for 40mil+10m to Luiz mother. That would leave an aging Terry in the middle, Cahill, Zouma and Ivan who can also be moved to the RB if the team needs it... Hmmm next year when Mou finally gets the squad formed properly it's going to be real good.

I'm not even sure if I'm making any points anymore, I should go to bed. This fucking uni report is doing my head in.

Mourinho loving experience should get Baines, and since we're into youth we should get Shaw. We can all be happy.

I hope he's the type that wants to get a home away from the family.

Clyne isn't ready to be our starting RB. Neither is Jenkinson. I wish we would just pay up and keep Sagna for 2 more years and slowly let Jenkinson take over the spot.

I don't think Shaw would be a great buy for Liverpool. Between the English tax and Southampton he would be likely to cost as much as £30million. Chelsea can throw that kind of money around easily enough, but Liverpool need to be more efficient with their spending, even if FSG hand a big budget with CL qualification.

Someone like Rodriguez at Wolfsburg would be half the cost of Shaw.

speaking of full backs, remember when andre santos used to play for Arsenal?

those were very dark times

I'll always have a soft spot for him after that ridiculous goal he scored against Chelsea, despite being defensively horrific the entire game

apparently we managed to sell him? for some reason, I just thought he was on perpetual loan. wow, how the hell did we pull that off lol

I still hope, in some deluded fantasy, we get him for the price we got Sturridge.
:(

For a club in such a comfortable position, Arsenal have had some very strange transfers.

Never seen Rodriguez play. Looks like Wolfsburg rejected a 6m offer for him from Sunderland last year. Must be that they brought in Marcos Alonso instead as second choice and he's always looked quite good to me. Seems to be an important part of their mini renaissance.

I've noticed this is the second time you've said this now, but last year we were knocked out by Madrid in the second round 3-2 on aggregate.

Ah people have already said that

Woke up at like 3, I can't stop shitting

Just saw episode 4 of TD.

I've been hooked on that Sun Kil Moon "Ben's My Friend" song that you guys were talking about.

They're not hugely sloppy, there's just a lot of it. Relatively browny orange, like dark peanut butter. Smells hot.

Ah okay. Yeah that's happened to me a few times. I'll just shit like 4 times In a day like that. Then the next day I'm normal.

Man though a few years ago I started getting these nasty anxiety attacks, and I lived on my own out in a rural area of Japan where I didn't have a single friend (my gf lived like 4 hours away and only came to visit once a month or so), and I started having mad gas/bowel issues related to the anxiety I had. I started getting chest pain from the gas and went to a pharmacy and asked the guy for something to clear the gas out and he gave me some medicine that I started taking immediately, but it just seemed to make my stomach gurgle more. It's hard finding medicine in a foreign country because even though I can speak the language, reading medical terms on a label is a big challenge.

Stomach problems didn't go away but holy shit I started having nasty diarrhea like every day and I just couldn't stop it no matter how much medicine I took. I would call my mom at 3am almost in tears because I was so frustrated I couldn't sleep with my stomach feeling like it was a perpetual war zone. She told me to go see a doctor and so before I did I went to another pharmacy to get some anti-diarrhea medication to tide me over. She asked me what the stuff I had been taking was. I pointed it out and she said "okay try this, it doesn't have 下薬 in it." I had never heard of that term... So I look up what that word means in my dictionary and it means 'laxative'. -_-

My mom straight laughed at me when I told her. She was like "sorry Brian I know it's been terrible for you but that's the funniest thing I've ever heard."

The whole album is great. Ben's My Friend is the most sing-songy of them, but everything on it is awesome. I particularly like I Watched the Film the Song Remains the Same. It's long and runs the gamut emotionally and is beautiful, musically

Yeah that's my second favorite song from that album.

Riccardo Meggiorini was forced to close his twitter by his club Torino aftnter making this comment and arguing with the fans :lol (it was directly after our derby)

“Juve’s strength is the so-called 12th man on the field... It’s on the field, though, because it’s certainly not the Juve fans!”

Sad hysterical.

Stomach problems

On the bright side, this is what's keeping you (and me) thin/fit ;p I think my stomach is too sensitive to certain food/cuisines, so it accelerates the process of digestion for my sake :lol

so I usually avoid eating heavy before a meeting or something.
funnily enough it never ever happens to me when I'm on a date or with a woman...

can we please disregard PSG and the La Liga teams? Even Soldado and Giroud were world-beaters there.

edit:

Jupp...

is this your doing....

[quote]Giroud - Wikipeida

We won't make it past Fiorentina. They're losing steam in Serie A, they'll be giving it all in EL.
They're going through a rough patch at the moment, let's finish them off!!!

Of course you guys are going to make it past Fiorentina. It's been predestined that Juve will lose in the final at home
Bayern-style

100% going to happen.

but our form at home is beyond ridiculous this season so there's that!

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much

Ade scored a wonder goal at Stamford Bridge last season, I hope he's up for it again. Can we be the first (second if we count moral winners Albion) to beat Mourinho at home in the PL?

No we can't. Hazard v Naughton 0_o
