I hate excessive abuse hurled at players who have done nothing violent, untoward, racist, or whatever in their past. Like it's one thing to complain about Evra's defensive lapses or Walcott's headless chicken routine, but the way people have turned on Ozil and Cleverley really disappoints me. No one ever talks about Gibbs, he's a solid left back but never seems to get a look in over Baines or Cole for England. Granted all three of them have only in parts this season (Cole through being old, Baines through injury and Gibbs through injury then Monreal doing ok so taking his Arsenal position) while Shaw has played almost the entire season.

Gibbs isn't bad at all, I think he just is always off and on because of his injuries and national team managers prefer players that play every week so they can get a good judgement on them.

What does our on-loan players have to do with anything? 95% of them aren't good enough, or are youngsters looking to get some match experience.
Hazard has been our best player, why would you want to rest him? Im less annoyed about him playing, more annoyed that he played and got a knock and stayed on the pitch. It served no benefit to Belgium to play him, they're already in the World Cup.
