My take away from this thread is theres Mass Effect 5 news? Where? (also, careful what you ask for!)

Nobody still cares about Anthem. If Im remembering correctly, the hub world part of this game was complete ass. Like a conglomeration of ancient culture mythos and it was just generic and actively off putting. And the awful graphical performance.. jeez! Mech gameplay was legit, thats old news. But I had a better time playing an obscure game called Blackwind which had similar concepts and less ambition.

I really wish EA had given them another year or two after the last reboot--but I understand that's not reasonable given it had been in development hell for years already at that time.

Even with the mess a lot of it was, I had a lot of fun playing it with friends. Probably my favorite combat/gameplay of any looter shooter type game to date. It was fun flying around, shooting things and mixing in Mass Effect style power attacks etc. The story just wasn't great and the end game terrible given they pretty much made the game in like a year and a half after the final reboot. Amazing it played as well as it did with flying being added in even later.
