Honorable Mentions: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (Wii), Trials HD, Devil Survivor, Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks, Flower, and The Beatles: Rock Band.

This was really really hard to order at all; it's been such a good year for games, personally. The top five are nearly about equal for me, Bowser's Inside Story would have been higher if it didn't feel like it dragged a bit near the tail end, and Splosion Man just barely beats out Trials HD because of the amazing co-op experience. Also might have put Silent Hill even higher if I'd had more time with it, but such is life.

not sure why voting ends so soon. black friday/steam sale/XBLA sale got me a bunch of 2009 games with little time to play them. seems to favor the heavily-marketed big budget titles that people buy at release, which don't exactly need a boost.

2009 is over. For those who whine about not having enough time - Get with the program and quit slacking. Everyone shouldn't have to wait for slackers to get the game of the year.

If you didn't have time to play all the games you bought/wanted to so be it. Vote for those you did have time to play.
