Terra EP by Falcons dropped on Fools Gold recently

1) Aquafina (feat. GoldLink & Chaz French)
2) Flame (feat. Stush)
3) Terra
4) Boss Mackin' (feat. A-1)

Whether reshaping LA’s dance scene for a new generation with his Athletixx crew, or delving into uncharted beat territory with solo tracks and remixes, California DJ/producer Falcons is a force to be reckoned with. Terra, his debut Fool’s Gold EP, showcases four cuts of imaginative, bass-driven songwriting that highlight Falcons’ confidence as a producer and collaborator, all while detonating the party like nothing else. After drippy summer jam “Aquafina” sets a tone with rap upstarts GoldLink and Chaz French, Terra bounces from rolling ragga hybrid “Flame,” guest-starring UK heroine Stush to the moody title track (built on Falcons’ own chopped and screwed vocals), before closing out strong with post-hyphy bomb “Boss Mackin” featuring San Francisco’s A-1. Terra is club music as its most elemental. Dig in…

Bumping this because I got a Soundcloud link for this too.
I know there's gotta be at least one Paul White fan here (...?)
He produced Adderall Admiral, Side A, Return of the G, Fields, Scrap Or Die, Wonderbread, Clean Up and Lonely for Danny Brown.

South London producer Paul White and Florida vocalist/rapper Eric Biddines have joined forces to form new duo Golden Rules. Their debut album of soulful, psychedelic hiphop is titled "Golden Ticket" and features Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def).

At least just listen to the track with Mos, real smooth.

how was x2 happiness ?

Amazing, love that bar, gonna go back soon...But the drive back was super sketchy and I ate this place called Dirty Frank's that served me some cold ass hot dogs. Double Happiness though is now one of my favorite bars, want to go back and just get really sloppy drunk on a non concert night.

Yeah man really great tracks on here Genocide, Darkside/Gone, Deep Water, Animals, Just Another Day. Really love how the vets came through on the verses and Anderson .Paak is a highlight out of the new artists.

Can I ask, what's the fascination with owning your stuff on vinyl?

I don't support artists I like since most of my stuff is on spotify; so its a combination of that and liking the art. Generally not a big collector though, so I never want to get to a point where I just have a bunch of records. Buy maybe 10-30 a year.

I would hold CDs in the same regard as Vinyl, sometimes the artwork used for Vinyl just completely outclass CD artwork. The fact that a CD can still be played in computers, gaming consoles and cars, stuff like that, is why I usually go for CDs more, and to add, they're usually less expensive and scarce.

"If you'd rather live surrounded by pristine objects than by the traces of happy memories, stay focused on tangible things. Otherwise, stop fixating on stuff you can touch and start caring about stuff that touches you."

What toku is really trying to say, is focus on how you're way is superior to others. Because that's how you really touch yourself.

So that Sean Price joint I linked contains two Lil' Fame produced Sean Price tracks and ObamaWhew.jpg. Sean turned the fuckery up a couple of notches.

Is there really an album in the vaults?

(Pigs starts 1:58 in)

Probably. He was planning on releasing a mixtape in a few weeks (Songs In The Key Of Price), I'd imagine they have more than enough tracks for an album after that.

yeah? i mean, that adds up to a lot over the years though man...how many you think you're up to now?

sounds good, looks cool, feels personal in an era where half of the stuff that used to decorate shelves fits in a bunch of 011010101011s
