Well since i cant get into a simgle fucking game with my friends we want to try going in solo but theres no clear indication on how to fucking leave a fireteam roster

No, I like weapon hit markers.

Sound effect is difficult to distinguish and if you and a mate are shooting someone you don't know who is hitting the enemy so shield flare becomes useless. Shield flare is also annoying at a distance.

I don't see any negatives with weapon hit markers, they don't get in the way, they don't clutter the screen and they provide you with useful information.

Three attempts to try and play a game with a friend of mine and three times we were booted out of matchmaking.

First day of the beta and all, but man, the new standard for Halo MP is becoming "this shit won't work".

i dont believe you can. i'm not sure why you would want to personally, but i've heard some of the pros complain about the same thing. theres no reason why it shouldnt be an option in the final game.

No, I've gotten posthumous kills with grenades, and been stuck from beyond the grave as well. Sounds like a bug.

-kill cam and death music are distracting and absolutely pointless. just turn the death cam towards the person who killed you.

-empire sucks.

-Sprint + sword ruins Truth

-Stop trying to make AR starts happen. Putting a scope on the gun doesn't make it better.

The game has potential. Every time i pick up a BR or DMR, i enjoy those 30 seconds of Halo again. But then I die and spawn with a shitty gun and I'm back to being meleed in the back with a Sword.

Speaking of DMR, WOW did they really make you not want to scope with this thing. I guess it's better than reticle bloom.

This is the game, this is it. This is redemption for TMCC. Beta is running near flawlessly, Little to no lag, game looks gorgeous, feels amazing, and I don't want to put it down... I think I'm feeling too sick for work tonight cough cough.

Secured my preorder on both a collectors and limited in case I don't like the collectors later on.

I don't want vibration on when I'm playing a shooter. It disturbs precise aiming calculations by shaking my hands and distracts me when I'm in a firefight. Most good players say it makes you play worse.

I used it all the way up until Reach and the moment I turned it off I started playing better.

If the game has good visual feedback you wont need to "feel" when you're being hit.

fired zero bullets in the orphanage.
There's no console wide option for impulse triggers but games generally let you turn it off in options if you want. If it isn't possible for this beta the full game should have it.
 
Other than server issues, this game has a great pace. I missed picking up weapons on the map that aren't just power weapons with massive waypoints pointing to their locations.

The ADS stuff isn't nearly as bad as I thought, though I do feel like the AR should be a little nerfed, particularly its range.

I think they need to add a "classic mode" for the scoping too similar to what the old games do. There's waaaay too much visual clutter happening when scoping back and forth with some guns
 
Well doesn't feel like old school Halo, but damn if the game isn't a blast to play. Seriously some of the most fun I have had since Halo 2 and in the end that's all that matters.

I'm getting flashbacks of MCC's first week of server issues with the release of the beta. Now me and a friend can't even get into a MM game on MCC.

Who is in charge of online infrastructure?
 
Yeah, half a dozen matches in and this game fucking rocks.

Even when I'm getting my shit pushed in, (which is more often than not), I get the sense that the new mobility options will provide plenty of means to get out of sticky situations once I come to grips with them. Thrusters have saved my ass a couple times already.

After so many years of Halo feeling like it was BR-or-bust, it pleases me greatly to see the AR finally able to hold its own at close-mid range. The new pistol is an absolutely perfect sidearm, and while the BR somehow feels off, I've always been in the DMR > BR camp, so I don't particularly mind. Finally, as someone that relies on the occasional lucky grenade throw to compensate for his mediocre gunplay, I appreciate the bite that frags have at the moment, (and I'm preemptively voicing my displeasure over their inevitable nerfing).

My only real complaint is that not being able to turn off the controller vibration is some serious bullshit.

Same here. I was having some trouble earlier but quit out of the game and hard reset my console. been getting an almost steady stream of matches since then.

Kill cams need to be an option for us to pick though I still want a game winning kill cam.

Empire is better than Truth right now because the colors don't blur together. I expect that to be fixed once they get into final optimizations for the game late next year.

The Prophets Bane maybe shouldn't be the sword on Truth, if there are normal swords in the game since the Prophets Bane grants a movement and lunge buff while equipped.

The AR is actually usable short to mid range, and the SMG wrecks in close quarters.
 
i've been unable to sticky anyone because the gameplay is so fast.

Maybe if they had a slight magnetic pull like the sticky nades in destiny...
 
BRs is the only way to play Halo ever since the pistol stopped being a 3sk.

I don't understand why you'd want to spawn with a bottom tier weapon and run around looking for a better one while you're being sniped in the back by the guy who just picked your old one up.
