You've adapted well to the GAF-life, my friend.
Thank you good sir, also good games tonight guys even if they were terribly laggy.

No they were not, and what a fallacious argument.
Fellatious?Fallacious made me think of phallic which made me think of penis.
Apologize for shoddy maintenance some more. And 343 Industries breaking the credit limit has nothing to do with them breaking the economy with custom challenges.
Did the custom challenges make everyone inheritors or something?Breaking the economy of an old game in which most people will never reach Inheritor anyway. Lol.
I don't blame them too much for the lousy rank system. Any system will be abused, especially one in which people can't accrue rank if they suck. Raising a generation of entitled kids who only know how to cheat or who can't take losing as a lesson and try to improve. Don't actually be good at shit just fake it till you make it.
How Bungie and Halo are connected with the Illuminati.Don't be shocked when the IllumiONI comes knocking on your door.

You mean those commendations that reward you like 10 credits for getting 20,000 kills? Yeah, those thing are sweet. The same reason I don't like being yoinked...still working on commendations.

So now you care about credits? You mean those commendations that reward you like 10 credits for getting 20,000 kills? Yeah, those thing are sweet.
It made it slightly easier to earn worthless space dollars so that the preposterous grind to whatever silly, meaningless symbol was next in the lineup is a slightly faster process now.Did the custom challenges make everyone inheritors or something?

They were indeed good games, I also enjoyed the mysterious return of the crotch echo.
Saying that it's silly that you get no real reward for something that is supposed to be a challenge of some kind does not mean I care about the credits them selves. It's just another part of the entire credit system that fails miserably. Why Bungie thought it was a good idea to reward people with a few thousand credits for achieving something that can take over a year is beyond me.So now you care about credits?
You can bypass the credit limit, and you can make a silly amount of credit on the ONI Target Locator checkpoint (more than 2,000cR/min). I put 1,000,000 cR on the account I gave to Steely in less than 48 hours.Did the custom challenges make everyone inheritors or something?

I wouldn't care much myself, but 343 nerfed custom challenges not long after they came out, so apparently 343 still (pretends) that the Reach economy is still something to not break. And then they broke it after that update anyway.
Of course, they also said they were raising the credit cap and never actually did. As an aside, Bungie has always said the military ranks were meant as longevity indicators and not skill indicators, so if people are viewing them as 'how long you've been around' indicators, the original purpose is being fulfilled. Screw being locked to Captain because you don't want to grind out a 40 in Team Slayer.
Don't be crazy.I just want MM to work properly regardless of whatever ranking system is implemented.

Oh really. I thought it slows in the amount it gave after a certain amount of time. So they broke it?

You can only spend CR points on vanity items; you can only get the points by playing the game. There is no trading or investing. Reach doesn't have an economy. I assume the word is being thrown around for lack of a better one.
Well since there are things being purchased the value of cR is important in terms of incentivizing people. If shit is too easy to earn then the value of everything diminishes. People don't need to trade with each other in order for there to be an economy at work.
Alright. The credit system still had some order to its rewards, and there was no faster way to earn credits than playing the game in DLC Matchmaking. It shouldn't be the case (and wasn't until custom challenges were introduced) that resetting a checkpoint over and over again (i.e. not playing) is more lucrative than playing matchmaking. You can only spend CR points on vanity items; you can only get the points by playing the game. So far I've only seen people say they don't give a damn about 343 breaking the custom challenges/credit system. How are those excuses? You guys will bitch all day about completely subjective mechanics, but when we have a clearly objective example of them breaking something, you're full of excuses.

Very little people care about the cR break here because, honestly, no one around here cares to spend 6+ hours setting up challenges on Waypoint and then spamming the campaign or whatever.
Nobody here even cares for CR, and if they did, they'd probablly not go through the slog required to break. It only affects a small number of very, very sad people.
Jetpacks piss off more people than some lame Custom Challenge exploit.
Still bitter that people don't have to spend 10 hours every day for a year playing Reach to get to Inheritor like you did?
He's afraid someone is going to get into his club!
oh noes teh credits
That, my friend, are people who don't give a fuck about credits.
lol drama.
It's too bad you lost all the smilies for GAF, you could have enhanced your post with a laughing representation of a face in animated graphical form.
I'm not asking you to care about credits. I'm asking 343 Industries to fix their mistakes. That, my friend, are people who don't give a fuck about credits.
THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE HALO 4 NEEDS TO ADDRESS.
NOT STORY.
NOT GRAPHICS.
NOT GAMEPLAY.
CREDITS.
Any of us would be happy playing a fun Halo game without any incentive system. I will not be trolled further.THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUE HALO 4 NEEDS TO ADDRESS.

I'd rather they fix things that.. you know... affect gameplay (i.e. healthpack glitch) than some meaningless credit system.I'm not asking you to care about credits. I'm asking 343 Industries to fix their mistakes.
