Sorry, I don't think we are talking about this in the same way. The eye could just be exactly what you say, I agree. But it seems odd that they would have a camera (assuming that means anything at all either of course) would have that same issue/ mechanic.

It might just be a hint at the HUD though I agree.

Not sure I can really tell what we're seeing in this ASMR preview footage with how much compression/artefacts/shimmering/few pop ins there is but re-watching the gameplay reveal of TLoU2 (incidentally a year to the day I just realised!) I'm honestly not blown away but after watching the high bit-rate video of the H:FW debut in-engine trailer last year I guess it isn't surprising.

I remember that being one of those things in the reveal trailer i thought was ”too good to be true”. I remember seeing it on the kelp during the underwater scene when the Snapmaw swims just above.

I don't think it's possible if it's still on PS4, for a number of reasons shown in videos like the AI pathing, and the streaming required. It might be, but it's not somethign I consider to be possible but everyone is keen on flying dino's so this seems like a decent compromise with full flight in III (next gen only)

If they wanted to keep expectations in check, I'd argue that they shouldnt have raised them with that trailer last year.

This is back when Jim Ryan was going around telling everyone how he believed in generations. I wouldnt be surprised if they created that trailer using the PS5 specs.

Lets see if the water physics get downgraded as well. If the waves dont look like that you will know that the trailer was faked.
