Asmongold talks. A lot. Too much, given what he got banned for. I find it hard to take him seriously when he's a grown adult who has not gone to seek help for what are clearly deep-seated mental issues and allows his room to reach that state.

Same for me. I only consume his content on YouTube, I assume most of his audience is in that boat because who sits there and watches Twitch streams all day? He’s by far the most tolerable talking head on YouTube, the rest can go in the trash IMO. After this drama I expect his content to be neutered and boring.
He is authentic. He doesnt beg for money (his twitch account is basically unmonetized), he doesnt sell out. He just says what he thinks.
What you might not know is that most youtubers feautured in Asmongold videos get a huge boost of viewers and followers after Asmond reacts to them. Even recently he reacted to a video where the creator of the video asked Asmond to react to it.

The issue with some streamers, youtubers, and influencers is that they're having a hard time adjusting to the current meta of content, which is politics, drama, dating rage-bait, and most of all, negativity/hate.

Ppl always been like that. Even before youtube existed, the News media was always 90% negative news (Crime, wars, scandals, etc) and about 10% positive news.
Ever since his mom died. He did a video a while ago about his mental health. Basically stating he went as far as eating mouldy leftover food. Also said he didn't kill himself because wrath of the litch king expansion came out etc..

Any time you say that a group of people should be wiped out because they're "inferior" should set off huge red flags and alarm bells lol. That's not just autism or being a shut in, that's signs that you're getting radicalized into some really weird shit because either you hang out with weirdos or you're mentally unstable. The problem is tens or hundreds of thousands of people listen to him and incorporate his takes into their own internal dialogue.
People here dislike streamers because they'd rather play games than watch people play them. You gotta remember a lot guys here are 30+ and 40+ and were relics of the old Internet that doesn't exist anymore. I appreciate GAF being around because there isn't many places that aren't Reddit or Meta driven social media these days to discuss interest.
