Given Intels track record, someone should photoshop hide the pain Harolds face into the box art and give him a mages robe or something."Battlemage"
Indeed. That is 100% accurate. Intel has nobody to blame but themselves. They are pushing the launch to decide if the GPU division is something they can afford to continue with long term or not. If it doesn’t gain traction I wouldn’t be surprised if that part of the business was sold off or shut down. I’m hoping for a worthwhile contender that will bring some competition to the market, but Intel isn’t in a great place to be competing on cost right now.
I agree, unfortunately.DLSS is too good along with frame gen to go buy anything but nvidia now.
It’s no longer just specs to specs competition. The dlss tech sealed the deal.
Well that's the issue, isn't it? We got people in this thread saying how Intel needs to succeed in GPU's for the sake of "competition" but not one of them will actually buy an Intel GPUOK so who is gonna be brave enough and be the guinea pig for the rest of us and buys one of those?

Do Intel have their own framegen?
You really funnyPretty confident Intel have just murdered anything AMD in their price range.
Presentation is live now.
XeSS FG is coming with this gen apparently.

Pretty poor perf/mm², tansistors
PC also high, for those money people love low PCUltimately doesn't really matter to an end user so long as Intel is willing to do that

They are making zero money on these but it’s great for consumers..
usd 700 gaming PC right? Not gonna lie, this has just convinced me to build a gaming PC.
Eh, I find it middling. Only 10% faster than a 4060 that's 18 months old. It looks decent compared to current offerings, but those are on their way out. I imagine the 5060 will be much faster than the 4060 for around $300. Considering Intel's driver situation and XeSS's scarcity relative to DLSS, this is a mediocre product in terms of its placement in the market. When you look at the specs and the performance it’s not really that impressive, but then when you factor in the price the rest goes out the window. Assuming drivers are stable, this actually makes the 4060 and 7600/xt seem like a terrible deal.
Yeah, when new gen comes out the calculus can change rapidly, but if the 8600 and 5060 are still using 8gb vram…. EhhhhhEh, I find it middling. Only 10% faster than a 4060 that's 18 months old. They using it, but for 1080, 8gb is ok, with FSR4/DLSS. Only price matter for them8600 and 5060 are still using 8gb vram
So the more expensive card is like a 4070 for $249?
The 12GB made me think 4070.more like a 4060ti I'd say
lmao, not a chanceThe 12GB made me think 4070.
Absolutely not. This would be a downgrade in every way possible lol.The 12GB made me think 4070.
Unsure how big of a boost this is from a 3080. A game like cyberpunk 2077 can’t run at max 60fps on a 3080 at 4k.
I’m wondering if this card could.
Is their version of frame gen launching with the cards day one? Unsure if devs will have to go update their old games to allow for it and I doubt many will…
