So no Final Fantasy for Xbox at TGS. Got it.

Kidding. Could be true with Tom Warren saying everyone should watch Xbox at TGS.

Predictable 'big' announcement. Was hoping for something a lil extra. Oh well. Can't dream too big when it comes to Japan x Xbox.

Hope that’s not the only announcement and they also managed to get NIS or Falcom to port games.

But otherwise I’m already glad we are getting a Atelier game early next year.

Sony obviously have square by the balls on ffvii. The old guard must have taken some serious money hats to be able to fuck the new ceos plans so much.

Ffxvi is a terrible game. Once again xbox is left with the scraps.

Critically acclaimed means not much. Movies with Oscars are also critically acclaimed, yet many people prefer to watch Fast and the Furios in space.
Critically acclaimed usually means that the quality, objectively, is good. It doesn't always have to do with popularity. You're confusing two different things.

TLOU is more critically acclaimed than Genshin Impact or Fortnite. It means that TLOU is objectively better at what it is trying to be, yet Genshin Impact or Fortnite are more popular / have more users.

One is of a better quality; the other is more popular.

Jezzy poopoo using guesses again.

Pixel remasters are almost a no brainer, doesn't take an "insider" to know that.

And ff16 most likely has any exclusivity deals over by now so it's another safe guess (although again I don't think MS drops that announcement as TGS, you keep it for a big showcase)

Basically as usual, jezzy poopoo pants has no insider knowledge, stop falling for it.

No, that's still subjectively. A few hundred people, if at all, are responsibe for the Metacritic score. But millions of gamers buying and playing games tell you what the better game is.
Games are art and art can never be objectively good or bad. You can just rate some parts like the graphics objectively, but not the whole game.

Haven’t played Genshin, but Fortnite is not worse than TLOU.

Its far more fun.

And they are "critics". Hence, the word "critically acclaimed" - as in a game is "acclaimed by critics."

No, it tells us what the "more popular" game is. Not what the "better game is."

You're still confusing and mixing the two (very different) things.

Some people seem to think that what a few self-acclaimed experts/critics say is set in stone. It isn't, it's still just the opinion/the taste of some people.

It tells you both, because the masses tell you what is good.

Let's say we both offer a burger for 10 Dollar. 20 so called critics say your burger is much better and yet my burger sells a hundredfold better than yours. That makes mine more popular and better, because the taste of the masses has higher value than the taste of a just a few.

Eh. I couldn’t be bothered to finish either, but I did buy FF16 and it’s season pass on a deep sale.

The "season pass" so far hasn't been on sale.

I know that because I bought FFXVI at launch and I loved the game, but I am still waiting for the dlc to go on sale (I don't think that the dlc is worth the full price).
