Dev who previously commented on there being different pssr versions that needs updates to get it implemented in games.

https://twistedvoxel.com/sony-bring...-pssr-upscaling-in-latest-ps5-pro-sdk-update/ And it is still an early stage for PSSR ML in Ps5 pro. Im sure MHW, DS2, Wolverine, GOY and GTA 6 will be impressive in Ps5 pro.

Now the next evolution of PSSR ML in Ps5 pro that I hope they reach asap is frame gen and RT denoising.
This is coming at one point, either for PS5 Pro or PS6. Although PS5 Pro seems to have pretty flexible hardware, so no real reason not to make it available for the console.

Also, I tried Jedi after the patch. I still prefer the 30 FPS mode, and it looks extremely good. There's some flicker, but overall, it has that beautiful CGI look. Dragon Age also looks really amazing.

As long as he is doing it respectfully and not being awful to fellow gamers (or harassing devs), I'm not seeing the issue. May be complaining 24/7 on an internet forum is how he can get the negativity out of his system and cure cancer in real life? A lot of devs are rushing to fix their botched implementations, thanks to some gamers who constantly make a noise about it. So I'd say we should just let them play their part, while the rest of us reap the benefits of their whining and tears.
Someone has to do it!

I finished the campaign of Star Wars Outlaws on the Pro and I think this game has the best lighting and shadows I've seen in an open-world console game. The lighting is realistic and looks fantastic. They also fixed the 21:9 mode so it's now no longer a letterboxed 16:9 mode but a true 21:9 aspect ratio. It'd be nice if 21:9 modes could become a standardised option on console games (along with 40fps modes :)).

Jedi Survivor with the latest patch looks so good.

Torn between quality and performance modes.

Quality looks stunning. Performance is so smooth. I keep toggling between both.

Is PSSR only used in Performance mode or in both modes?

foliage shadows missing make it looks worse than base ps5

It's due to ray tracing and I don't think no one has noticed because honestly who is using the Quality setting on the base consoles (both PS5 and Series X)? If had switched over to Quality he would've noticed. When Respawn removed the RT from the performance modes on the base consoles it introduced it's own solution which honestly does present itself way better. Unfortunately for the Pro RT is applied in both modes again so it seems to be absent altogether but it's there. You can check it out here:

I'm genuinely wondering if any outlet has talked about this because I've also observed it in the PC footage, too. These are snippets converted into jpg so I can upload so the quality is trash but you can definitely tell the difference in the implementations. If you go back pre patch 7 the performance mode looks the same as all of the others because RT was still being applied.
