I think she can be a lead a game or at least be a pivotal character. But they also chose a boring as hell visual direction of bootleg actor likeness among other things. On paper it should've been fantastic.

Steam CCU holding well since launch.

Daily low about 200,000. Daily high about 400,000. Even today, which is middle of the week it hasnt dropped off like a rock since the weekend.

I disagree, I think had it be free 2 play, it wouldn't have died the death that it did. I think it would have attracted a lot more people had it had a proper marketing (which is another big factor into its failure). I think not acknowledging it as $40 is just being blind to it being a problem especially when it was in sea full of these games.

Thinking about it now, it feels like a bigger marketing budget probably would have helped it better, but it was too far gone at that point. The writing was on the wall for the game when it released into beta when it didn't get the players. Adding to the fact that it was pay to play just made it worse.

The characters were shit and nobody wanted to play as them. Fortnite makes oodles of money just selling skins and dance moves - because that is how much people care about how their character looks in a game.

The free beta on PC I think topped out at 3,000 CCU. On PS, who knows how many played, but assuming it is more than PC players (Im taking a guess), the beta might had topped out at 10,000 CCU tops. That's it.

That Delta Force beta test on PC I think did 25,000-ish CCU alone. And the final F2P game now has over 50,000 CCU as I type, topping out at 118,000 on Steam. Even if Concord was F2P, it's numbers would be hardly anything.

NetEase. A mobile focused dev. I have no idea how good their track record is for server stability.

The amount of people who try your free to play game isn't a metric that determines literally anything.

Crossplay can be disabled…i play on xbox series x and it plays great…sure the pro will be butter.
