I think Captain Marvel is voiced by Grey DeLisle, as in Avengers Assemble. Though Jennifer Hale (Jean Grey's UMvC3/Wolverine & the X-Men VA) did voice Carol in Avengers: EMH.

I prefer MvC3's art stye so far, but I've been itching to play MvC again so I'll gladly take MvC3 for now and this later on. The faster and more varied tagging seems cool, but losing assists feels like losing some of MvC's soul.

The first 3 characters shown from Marvel side are the ones they are pushing/wanting to push on the studio front, i.e. Ironman, Cap, and Captain Marvel.

With the MCU being so huge and the fact that it's releasing on all platforms (apart from Switch?) it won't be surprising if MvCI ends up selling very well. The name Marvel is a big pull right now. As for SF5 I'm sure there will be more "collection" discs being sold that will also help it in that regard.

Do chops in one MvsC game transfer at all to the next one? And not just in a sort of fighting game fundamentals sort of way? I love UMvsC3 but I only ever played it on a super scrubby level. I've wanted to dedicate time and effort to really getting decent at a fighting game but I can never settle on one to pick. Following Infinite's announcement this weekend has gotten my hyped, plus the rerelease of 3 on PS4 is great too. Is it worth using 3 to build fighting game fundamentals or should I just wait and use Infinite when it comes out?

You are thinking of UMVC3. Marvel 3 had near month releases of characters (2 per month pairing).
Calling it right now... Dante to be revealed at E3 alongside DMC5.

The game may have some similarities and movesets to older games, but 2v2, no assists, and new systems just mean you're not gonna get a lot out of it

I see. That's a bit of a shame. Is 3 an OK place to build up some fundamentals at least? Or am I better off gitting gud with another fighting game? I just love the roster of this series.

I really, really hope the X armor special changes depending of the costume, that way we can get Fourth Armor, Gaea Armor, Falcon Armor.
