It's awesome seeing this thread pic up so much steam in the past week or so. It's crunch time, the hype is real.

Also, PLEASE REMEMBER TO CONTINUE TO MARK STORY SPOILERS. As lame as the story may end up being, I still wanna see it through. I didn't even watch the demo cutscenes because I wanna go on that little ride all at once when the full game comes out.

Well, it's just fake but I would be shocked if we didn't get Daredevil in the roster at all. Also Ant-Man is more likely to be shelved just like Doctor Octopus (MVC3).

Man this game keeps disappointing. And I say this as someone who likes the goblin villains.

I wouldn't be shocked, but I'd be disappointed if we don't get Daredevil at some point.

I also think Ant-Man is done for. I personally can't think of how to properly execute shrinking in a 2D fighter without it being some dumb gimmick or super/cinematic only transformation.

I wonder how a "realistic" Captain Commando will/would look....

Speaking of, how would Nina and Deis work as a combo? Would it make sense?

I emphasized that I think it's fake but I'm going to throw the idea into this discussion.

If Nina actually have Deis being part of her special, hyper or level 3 moves then it's more likely to be from BOF1 or BOF4. BOF2 Deis is an optional (secret) character so I can't really see that. Deis isn't playable in Breath of Fire 3 but she would become their master if you answered her question correctly.

Niitsuma had a plan for Nina to be BOF1 Nina and she would have Mega Man Final Smash-ish Level 3 move (with all Nina). Also I think she would more likely to regain any moves and abilities from any iteration.

Wolverine, Star-Lord, Green Goblin, Venom, Ms. Marvel, Doctor Doom, Asura, Lady, Captain Commando, Vergil, Regina, Nina and Deis / Bleu.

This would make almost everyone some degree of happy. Really, to see Nina, and Deis/Bleu, would be some long-standing dreams and wishes. And it'd be nice to see series reps that aren't JUST the main heroes. I have no problem letting THAT Ryu rest for a while, and letting BoF characters poke fun at the one who's already in the game, for being similar. (Heck, give him a costume too...)

Cap Commando making it back would make almost any pre-release negatives about the game wash away for me. I really wish he was a series mainstay. He seems more fit for the universe than SF's Ryu, really.

Regina should actually have some great synergy with RE and MonHun franchises, which would be fun to see come through in post match quotes and tag call-outs.

The Marvel side of this seems a bit all over the place, but that's not bad, really. Reps a lot or series, sets a clear message of what one could see more of in the future, and pays proper fanservice to MvC series mainstays in some fashion. Kamala would be fantastic to finally get, as well.

I don't think there are any. The Atom might be part of DLC pack 3 for Injustice 2, though I'm sure he'd be more "Iron Man" and have very little to do with shrinking (I'd be impressed if they prove me wrong).

Even if that list were real (which I won't believe it until I see it), it further accentuates the problem with female representation in this game: if the there aren't more female characters in the base game, DLC won't fix it and will probably skew the ratio even more towards the male side.

Because the DLC characters that "everyone wants" (and what eventually will be published) are almost undoubtedly gonna have a ratio of Male to Female of at least 3:1.

That's why I think the fake leak had them separate because I can't really see both being partnered up. Unless Nina 1 is going to be front liner since she's a sword (fencer) user with healing and support magic, and Bleu is basically black mage.

Not even Regina? I would love to have BOF and Regina but when I see leaked list with one or both, that would be even instant fake in heartbeat. This time, two BOF characters and Regina, that's even overkill in term of fake list.

Personally, I'm not fan of Disc Unlockable Contents but I think they are going to pull same thing with MVCI as they did with SFV Story Mode.

A lot of the expense of DMC4 went into changing engines multiple time then making multiple versions after it was a PS4 only title. That's not going to be an issue this time around when they have a clear picture of which systems it will be on.
