Atlus didn't even bother for a swan song for Vita. RIP.
Atlus didn't bother making games on Vita when it would've been a very viable platform for them. Why would they now?

Something, something, lol.
I'm guessing Splatoon 2 preorders won't open for a while?

So what is KT's MH?Believe it or not Koei is actually bigger than Capcom (look it up).
What about the arguement about splitting the userbase? Its the same thing there, no base to support that either.I love all the talk about MH5 on PS4 would automatically increase sales in the west without any base to support it. If true, I suppose we will see DQ11 PS4 easily outsells DQ11 3DS in the west too.

First they must date Arms.

I would actually not be surprised if DQXI is only released on PS4 outside of Japan. I guess Switch too.
France doesn't count as west?
That's my guess too. I doubt Square or Nintendo will bother about localizing a 3DS game in 2018.
Should I be worried about Koei Tecmo ? Musou Stars is a flop, and recently most of their collaboration bombed too. NiOh did fine but I doubt it's enough to compensate for all the other games.
So what is KT's MH?
So KT is even worse off than Capcom! The latter can keep recycling a yearly game with still big hype and sales while the former is close to having used up all possible collaborations with big sales potential for recycling! If you combine all Musou collaborations KT has released maybe they'll come close to a Monster Hunter main title sales.

Sure, but the point is that theres no hard evidence that we can look at to determine how things would be if they do this or that.I like how that's the point you all keep harping on despite the fact that point was brought up when discussing why they didn't do straight multiplatform releases between 3DS/PSP/Vita and when talking about releases which only had local multiplayer. In which context it makes perfect sense.
The major point against going multiplatform with PS4 has always been that it remains to be seen how much they would gain and they would have to give up their sweet co-marketing deal with Nintendo.
If Nintendo takes an active part in it, I could see a 3DS/Switch release. But I don't see them being able to offer enough to sway S-E given how they very specifically said they localized all the recent PS4 DQ titles to pave the way in the market for DQXI.
Yeah but conversely Nintendo helped with Dragon Quest 7 and 8 on 3DS.
[SWI] Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 96
[PS4] Gran Turismo Sport - 72
I don't know anything about this new GT but this is funny.
And isn't FEE charting too low?
I think me and Duckroll don't think that DQ11 3DS is even coming to the west there.^^

Mario kart always outsells GT?
Can't wait for both to come out mind
How often do they get the chance to do so in the first place? How often does Nintendo market multiplatform games?
More to the point if they are releasing on PS4 for Western sales then they don't want Nintendo to be the one marketing it, they will want Sony to.
I'm sure they'd love to have Felines dressed as Isabelle on PS4 too.
Just checked that Splatoon got dated on April 2nd (Thursday) for a May 28th release.
If they follow the same logic and if Arms is releasing by the end of May as Splatoon was, they should announce the release date this week or next the latest.
How often do they get the chance to?
With the rate Switch sells I could see Nintendo pushing Arms and Splatoon one month back from what could be the original target, if they think hype can still carry sales and want to polish them more. Mario Kart will define that.
Arms for June and Splatoon for August.
How often do Xbox and Sony even bother/put much effort into marketing for Lego games? I was referring to the more mainstream games like COD/FIFA/etc that aren't on Nintendo consoles. All the time. Nintendo doesn't even have the marketing for LEGO games.
It wouldn't even benefit Nintendo to provide marketing in this scenario.

Also, why wouldn't it benefit Nintendo? Sony and Microsoft do it all the time and they still continue to do so and I don't believe that they're in the business of wasting money just to get marketing dibs. History has shown that multiplats can give the marketing partner a boost in console sales.
That doesn't explain why Nintendo wouldn't stand to gain from marketing a multiplat MH. They have an established fan base on the 3DS and software bundles could entice them while Sony would have to reestablish their MH fanbase since it's been like 8 years since FU.Sony co-markets all the Lego games.
Nintendo isn't Sony or MS and they only do marketing deals because they are directly competing for the exact same demographics in the exact same markets.
Nintendo's marketing deal for MH has been almost exclusively western focused so it wouldn't be wasted when Capcom is prioritising the PS4 for that market.
Plot twist: Splatoon 2 releases before ARMS.I don't think they will delay Splatoon in August, they will probably want to get sales before Obon. Arms in June is plausible, not due to strategic delays.

How is this funny? Mario Kart comes out next month whereas GTS has no release date/[SWI] Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - 96
