Looks like the Japan is seeing a slow down across the board now. Week after week, the YoY comparisons are poor. And the new console isn't helping either...

Eh, I wouldn't call around 40k in the second week post-GW pretty bad, you know :D
Considering last week it did more than last year, despite a lower GW, there's probably a reason for this week's drop. Maybe anticipation for SMTIV (the bundle)?

But all of these games will also be released on PS3. Even exclusive games of the same franchises didn't help Japanese sales of the PS3 much in the beginning; I don't see why the PS4 would benefit of it when these games aren't even exlusive to the next-gen console.

Oh well. All in all this is a week that's better off not being talked about, lol.

Did it get a boost or did sell dropped less than most games ?
EDIT : nvm didn't saw Game & Wario which sale is pretty much the same as last week only went to 28 from 29.

Shit all around. PSP wins the weekly bloodfeud.

Presumably all Japanese developers are crossing their fingers and hoping to fuck the PS4 does something to how things are currently, but even then there seems to be a 10 million hard cap on the standard gaming audience.

Bad week across the board.

Not looking good for anything on the market for the next couple of months. 3DS will tick along until Monster Hunter hits, Wii U will continue to drop until Pikmin 3 hits (although it might get a slight Luigi boost), Vita may keep stable but will likely continue to drop off.
