I made I quick search, bear in mind that I only have access to a small portion of overall data, and I only found two games with a sell-through higher than 97%. Pokémon Diamond (97,12%) and Gundam True Odyssey (97,2%)

Famitsu sell-through for combined version of Pokémon Diamond / Pearl was 95,4%.

That's crazy. Now we just need a hint at the North American numbers. We know it charted at least in the UK after Witcher 3. Then there is this. The big unknown now is NA and it's amiibo numbers.

I think 106k is the sum of all three Splatoon amiibos, with the triple pack counting 3x? It's confusing.

It's still an impressive number, for a new IP to sell as well as the Nintendo staple. Individually, it's 32k for each character which could have been more if not nearly sold out.

That 106k number for Splatoon Amiibo counts the 3-packs as 3 figures for a total number of figures. So, just over 35k of each including packs and singles.

we should consider, regarding previous Amiibo sales, that they became a "phenomenon" in 2015, the first batch I remember I could see Villager still 3 weeks after the release, batch 2 (Rosalina & Co.) was more quick to get sold-out, batch 3 (Sheik & Co.) was sold-out on D1 (I remember going to Yodobashi Camera Ikebukuro at 12:00 and I found nothing, shops open at 10:00 - 10:30 FYI)

so maybe December numbers are not so high, we should have at least January or both Jan/Feb to have a better estimate about Amiibo sales.

Given the sellthrough rate I don't think comparing it to more recent numbers will teach us much and we already know that Amiibo sales in Japan have been pretty meh.

DBZ and FE in the next couple of weeks I think.

Actually, I don't think this DBZ will be big going by comgnet.

But then again, DBZ Super premeries July 5th so maybe it'll get boosted legs.

3ds releases not hot but not bad - thought it might have been worse. Hoping Shiren does well, good target shipment. Natsuiro likely to be selling more on new gen.

Thanks as always hiska-kun for the first day sellthroughs. I find sellthrough targets publishers and retailers have set to be as interesting as the overall sales.

I think you are correct. Q1 amiibo shipments were equal to Q4 shipments.

Really happy to see impressive Splatoon numbers. As many people as possible should have the experience of playing this game. Hopefully Ninty can get more stock out for those that want it.
