Are those PSP games that are being released next week Vita compatible (download version, naturally)?
During DQH release week?
What contracts and deals? Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax uses characters from the Dengeki Bunko label of various light novels series. They are all owned by Kadokawa. It's one company.
Dragon Quest doesn't really mean anything to me, never touched the series and didn't know it was popular (or even coming out in Japan).

Moor, pls. I'm saying that Uta no Pri is the end.

Really? Doraemon is quite a popular franchise in Japan, the anime, movie & merchandise sales are quite exquisite. It's odd that its success doesn't translate in the video game space.
Last week another Doraemon game was launched and was a bomba too.

children are not interested in Doraemon anymore

It's a port of a PSP game but yes, the game sold poorly. Perhaps 3DS is not the right platform for otome games?
Moor, pls. I'm saying that Uta no Pri is the end.
He was also shocked when a full priced Vita port of a full priced psp port of a budget ps2 game bombed late last year (EDF2).
But that's why we like him.

Media create mentions DQH sell-through ratio: 92.25% for PS3 version and 89.89% for PS4 version. Also 80.24% of last week's sales belong to Playstation.
Well, doesn't Sega need to make a deal with Kadokawa for this collaboration to happen?
A sequel would imply more characters, and even if there were no cameos from other companies, it would need a new deal.
What makes you think it's a one way thing though? Looking at the results, I would say Kadokawa probably wants a sequel as much as anyone else. It's great business for their brands, and they'll want to build on it.
So more than 650,000 units sold in during week 1.
That sell through is very high so I do wonder how it will continue selling.

I'm most interested in this one next week. Up from Untold 2? Down? The consistency of the series seems a little bit shaken after that last installment, so I wonder if a genreshift might shake things up.
Do we have sell through percentage for DQH on Media Create yet?
Already answered but I'll give a more detailed response from their writeup. Media Create confirms that the 269k figure for PS4 includes all the sales for the Dragon Quest Metal Slime Edition PS4 from last Dec until now. The sell-through percentage for PS3 is 92.25% (which means the PS3 shipment was about 352k in the period), while for the PS4 is 89.89%, but I don't think we can calculate the exact software shipment since they do not specific what the exact sales figure for the PS4 bundle is right now. They also mention that it appears that download sales for the game is also pretty high, but they don't have any figures on that.
Famitsu to the rescue?

I think this one will only had small chances of selling more than Untold 2 here or in the best scenario sell the same as Untold 2.
Spin-off rarely sells the same amount as main title.

Just saying that even if Kadokawa is interested, both will want/need to re-negociate contracts, and that it is never as simple as we think it could.
Not disagreeing with you there.

While also revealed earlier today in a post on the official movie blog, movie news site Cinema Today has also reported on the bonus items that will be distributed to the first 1.5 million theatergoers attending the upcoming film Dragon Ball Z: Revival of F in Japan.
While supplies last, each ticketholder will receive a Dragon Ball Ultimate Card Set containing a Dragon Ball Heroes card of either movie-version Vegeta or movie-version Son Goku, as well as a collection of codes unlocking movie-related content in the games Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission 2 (3DS), Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle (iOS/Android), Dragon Ball: Zenkai Battle Royale (arcade), Dragon Ball XENOVERSE (PS3/PS4/360/XBO/PC), and the upcoming Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden (3DS).
Indeed basically no one bet on 3DS as the otome platform. The first PSV Hakuoki sold greatly, though, that's why the result of the porting was particularly bad (and also the IP has an history on Sony platforms). No one was expecting La Corda D'Oro third porting to sell so well.
another biased post? shocking! /sC'mon Pennywise, you know a port should always sell worse than a new game. Last week you claimed that a Vita port of a game that had been released a few times "sold badly" at 7366 copies. This week you're saying a 3DS port of a game that had been released a few times "sold about what expected" with 2369. Now you're claiming that there were big expectations for the Vita port of a game that already came out on PS2, PSP and DS. Really?

huh what released last year to keep the weekly comparison almost flat?
But if you saw the PS4's number over the 3DS, you likely saw a 270k game releasing for that system in the same week.
Since we were talking about Dragon Ball recently:

The last is interesting in that the bonus is a demo only available to theatregoers with movie characters.
Toei is hoping the new movie tops ¥4 billion.
