Didn't Sony just have to revise their future earnings down? The whole industry is down apparently.

Down from last year because they have now peaked and sales are only going to do down from here. just like they do every gen.

But Switch 2 will give the industry a boost. The industry is down because switch was in its last year and still selling more than xbox which was in the third year. One company is responsible for the lack of growth and thats microsoft. They are blaming thier fuckups on everyone else.

You can have all the amazing hardware in the world, but if you have no good games to put on that thing, nobody is buying your hardware. I honestly believe them making another expensive console is a big mistake. The PS5 Pro, the Nintendo Switch 2, and the PS6 are coming out within the next 3 to 4 years, so they'll even be further behind.

They could have simply just done this on their official website with a blog or on Twitter. Why wait for a small announcement? I guess they're trying to not piss off their hardcore fans yet. But, they'll eventually announce more games for the PS5 and whatnot.
