I don't need 9 right now , I want news about the remakes
The only remake/rmeaster we need is.....

because that one seem a little to good.
Especially the performance part.

Even the benchmark on pc that should be final code aside maybe from the day one patch has massive performance drops and in general doesn't improve too much on the beta even on high end systems, and the consoles had downright retro pixelart on screen in that version at times.... And now I'm to believe the final version suddenly runs flawlessly with good IQ?
I'd be very happy if that was true but such a tremendous change in such a short timeframe would be a first.... Especially since the other open world re engine game released almost a year ago hasn't managed to do that to this day.

Is it just me, or do only the monsters look good with all the animations and the rest look worse than in Worlds?
Overall the game looks worse than World because it’s doing way more things. World had small, dense zones. Wilds has this crazy weather system and gigantic open zones, with tons of fauna independently roaming all over, some in packs. Apples & oranges.

91 with standouts being monster variety/design, the atmosphere of the new zones and increased speed and mobility tools, sprinkled with some performance issues.

No representation. 0/10 whilst there are lots of monsters none of them are visually diverse and as far as we can tell none have same sex relationships. Even more troubling is there's no definitive proof that any of the monsters are trans or have any neurodivergency.

Troublesome and dissapointing to hear.

If you want to run Fidelity mode with an uncapped framerate, more power to you. PS5 Pro players will be very happy with this.
This is great for PS5 Pro and even for PS6. I played World at locked 60fps on PS5 (probably my most played game on PS5 with a few others) and it was awesome to be able to.

Eh. Everything in Wilds looks like 20 times more detailed to me..
Monsters in World actually look low poly compared to this.
People have absolutely shit memory, I recently replayed World/Iceborne to prepare for Wilds and it no where near detail compare to Wilds even on old build beta and not to mention the fact Wilds scale is MUCH bigger with dynamic weather effects.

Again we been through same crap when RE4 Remake coming out and people said its worse remake just because of rain effects.

I don't know about this one. New monsters have very weird alien looking designs and performance really rubbed me the wrong way. Im sure it will be a solid game like every other MH before it but I can't help to feel somewhat uneasy.

The graphical uplift, aside from some monster models, is very moderate though and if you compare it to a top of the line PS4 game like Horizon Frobidden West it looks dated. It`s like the asset quality has barely changed and they just upped the density a bit + more atmospheric effects.
There`s no sugarcoating it, Wilds looks like a mid-gen PS4 game, which is still "good enough", imho, if the performance fits the visuals ( which has not been the case so far)

If you look at our own world we also have some bizarre and “alien” looking animals….

That’s what makes our world interesting..

It same with MH, I’m glad in Wilds we are getting proper variety of monsters instead of mostly getting Flying wyvern or Brute wyvern like in base World.

And the difference with the monsters is also minimal unless the dude really think my comparison is 20x times the difference.

This is a generational\low poly-high poly difference

I get that, but while those animal may be fascinating compared to the animals we are used to seeing I don't think the monsters in MHW work well as far as I've seen. Mostly because I don't instantly see how armor of weapons made from the would look like. When I see Barioth or Lagiacrus I know what to expect both from the monster and the equipment I may be able to get from it. Doesn't happen to me with wilds.

Also, Wilds is strolngly referencial to MH4 and I also felt that had weird lineup. Maybe there's a through-line I'm not getting.

I don't think the monsters look alien tbh.

Quematrice look like a chicken dino
Octopus look like an oily, firey octopus
Rompopolo look like a bipedal mosquito
Uth duna look like an acquatic dinosaur with a snake face
The spiders look like spiders
The monkeys look like dinosaur monkeys

What is the monster that look like an alien?

Isn’t that a good thing? I don’t know what armor set or weapon I’m gonna get from the new monsters but I’m excited to find out, I mean thats part of the fun hunting new monsters….at least for me.

I’m 100% sure weapon designs is gonna be 1000 x better than what we got from World.
