More hype than you expected.

Mr Reasonable

Completely Unreasonable
Sometimes you get into something and you find yourself wondering "Huh. Am I getting too into this?"

Then the orchestra kicks in and you realise "No. This is completely normal." And euphoria takes over. Your body is light. You feel every emotion all at once. You are alive for the first time.

At this point, I don't trust any of these videos where the audio can be easily manipulated

And honestly, I expect it to be manipulated, given how many gullible people are on TikTok and other social media

It's embarrassing

From your reaction. One may say you are being unreasonable.

I was like what is this product throughout the whole video

The reaction does not go with the product (a blender)

Also, those people in the audience - who fills an auditorium for a blender launch ? (employees ?)

Are people cheering the promo video of a fucking blender? 😂

Modern consumerism is so fucking stupid.
Yeah, the Thermomix/Bimby is not a blender. You guys obviously don't know anyone who owns one. It's ALSO a blender, but more than anything else is a cult.

I'll probably convert and buy one in the future.

It's a Multicooker that can do all kinds of things
The functions can be accessed simultaneously to carry out steaming, emulsifying, blending, precise heating, mixing, milling, whipping, kneading, chopping, weighing, grinding and stirring.
It also costs 1.549 Euro...

Yeah upper middle class and wealthy middle aged women go crazy for these Thermomix things around these parts.
That event is like the Ps6 announcement for them.

Can I fit my head into it? Cause that's what I wanna do after watching that whole thing.

A cult for a food processor?

Is this a chefs convention or are we talking regular domestic users.

I get brand loyalty but..
People really love that shit. Domestic users. You basically put ingredients in it and it does more or less everything.

I know a few people (women) who go crazy over TM. Because they make a living by selling it. So you can assume that the crowd is full with vendors. They all have dollar signs in their eyes.

My wife never saw the appeal, but she's a traditional chef and knows how to cook. I must admit, though, that TM makes great Margharitas

i love shit like this. i mean everyone has their own thing. i'm excited about computers and tech but when i discover people with a passion for "weird" things it's so interesting. i often wonder if there are niche communities out there where they all talk about the latest news for things like microwaves, kettles, curtlery, bins, paper, curtains/blinds, etc lmao.

The yearly sub to access the recipes, including ones that you've input yourself, pushes me firmly towards a tokit rather than this.
