I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it but fun enough with a few good deaths. 6/10.
Movie was fine, it just didn't really grab me. Kinda reminded me of Final Destination.Gave that one an A+![]()
excellent choiceRewatching - Very Bad Things
Incredible movie, incredible cast, may possibly be the most underrated movie ever made as nobody ever talks about it.

I remember the huge marketing for this movie when it came out. I was a teenager and always wanted to watch that. I'll add it to my watchlist
Best way to describe it is The Hangover meets Quentin Tarantino. If it's that good, I'll put it on my watch list.
Aye seconded. Good movie.Best way to describe it is The Hangover meets Quentin Tarantino.

Watched the original with my dad, so it only felt right to watch the sequel with him too.
I’d been putting this one off, I usually give sequels a fair shot, but something about this one just didn’t sit right with me from the start. And after watching it… yeah, I hated it from beginning to end
Someone needs to start a 'What's your most controversial movie opinion?' threadl'll probably enjoy it![]()
Watched this last night! The black and white definitely added to the movies atmosphere and made the mist a lot spookier.Follow it up with Darabont’s The Mist (black and white version preferably) if you haven’t seen that one.
The 4th Man and Flesh + Blood are bretty gud. What Paul Verhoeven movies do I need to see besides his 87-97 stuff?
Beastmaster 1 and 2
Deathstalker 1-3
Sword and the Sorceror.
All this last mon through wednesday.
Tanya Roberts ya. Passed away recently and was in that 70's show as the hot mom in one of the side families.Beastmaster, great film. And the redhead is smoking hot.
I just watched Krull for the first time a couple months ago, I liked it! I love that weird 80s stuff.
Next up for me in the fantasy movie line up (that I've never seen before) is Dragonslayer.
Personally did not care for the original Gladiator with Russell Crowe so this was pretty much in line with it. I remember renting it along with The Patriot starring Mel Gibson and I prefered the film about the Revolutionary War. Ben-Hur (1959) and Spartacus (1960) were the last Roman Empire films I genuinely enjoyed. The TV shows have been a lot better.![]()

It is a mix of stylized old sci-fi, high fantasy daydreaming, and corporate dystopia with dark humor. Demented at its core but palpably absurd.I'm not even sure what to say about Brazil. I understand what it is going for and I know people love it, but this is not for me and about as far away as for me as a movie can get.

After putting it off for so many years finally decided to watch Intersteller. When I see the "absolute cinema" from now on I will think about Intersteller. Id be remiss to not mention the amazing soundtrack as well. I've been on a space kick lately and really enjoyed all the space scenes here especially the stuff with the black hole.
That ending to me was beautiful man meeting his daughter after several several years. Plus the main character getting to go colonize an entire planet with Anne Hathaway sounds like a win to me. Fuck Matt Damon why is this guy so good at playing unlikeable character.

To Live and Die in LA (1985)
This movie feels like it has a certain self-awareness about the essence of the 80s from within it, somehow. The last William Friedkin movie I watched was Killer Joe, and while LA is definitely not as extreme, it still pushes the limit of an R rating every chance it gets and has a nihilistic horror-edged darkness to it that sets it apart from its contemporaries.
I’m not entirely sure why a counterfeiting case turns crazier than the jungles of Vietnam circa 1968, but no complaints. Great performances by William Peterson (notably from Manhunter) and the ever illustrious Willem Dafoe. Now I want a 1984 Ferrari 308 GTS to cruise through the orange-red smog at sunrise.

It's probably my favourite of his. If you're interested in delving deeper into the film I'd recommend checking out this videoI rewatched the Grand Budapest Hotel this weekend and it's still a brilliant film.
Hard Boiled and City on Fire coming to iTunes via Shout!.

I love this movie, it’s not widely available for some reason but it did get a recent 4K release which I grabbed . I love how it feels like everything is just spiraling out of control. I have watched it probably a dozen times over the last 30 years. To Live and Die in LA (1985)
