It's been a while gaf. :)
I'm not really an active poster anymore, I'm insanely busy with work, two dogs now, the very limited time I have to game and just other social activities/hobbies :)

I really hope all my fave members are doing well 😊

as an ex fatty, I applaud you sir. The ketogenics diet helped me lose like 100lbs in a year. Definitely could not ever stomach eatimg that way again but it made me learn how to cook and what options I have to maintain balance. That really is what health is about - balance.

It took a long time for me to realise how unbalanced my life and diet was, once I made the connection everything became clear and easier to change. Seems you are on the right track.

Well done, I've never done anything so transformative, just engaged in a course correction when I realised I was 15kg overweight (34lbs, American friends) and am still slowly getting that down, but this is a good reminder to not let bad habits creep back in. (Still going out for breakfast though)

Damn, amazing congrats. How much time do you spend walking daily ?

Also wondering what shoes do you use. You must be a shoe expert now haha.

I honestly don't know, I walk to and from work, and when I'm at work I'm usually on my feet, I do a morning 4+ mile walk what takes me about an hour & 15 mins.
& Then days off work I can literally venture off for the day and walk to all sorts of beautiful country parks and coffee shops for a frappe :)

Shoe wise, I wear Skechers, I buy a pair pretty much every month.

Skechers go walk max (I've destroyed 16 pairs off, cheap and cheerful, but they are great otherwise and give you a nice spring in your step imo)

Skechers go walk 7 (a little pricer, very comfy)

Skechers summits they good, but they suddenly become uncomfortable when they are done, the insole just sinks.

Skechers escape plan trial (avoid, a 16 mile walk with these shoes gave me calluses) 😐

Skechers dynamight they are okay I guess.

I don't know if it's because I have flat feet but I absolutely destroy the insoles.

Congrats anthony2690 anthony2690 keep it up!
Keep it up legend. Solid work that creates more benefits than just weight lose. Kudos.
Good shit man
Good job former fatty, takes a lot of dedication to reach such a goal. Keep it up and be proud of yourself!

Keep up the great work

Thank you for the kind words ❤️

Congrats. Very impressive transformation in a year. What was your diet?
Also just curious, how's the skin? I wonder like does the skin just stretch back or is their some loose flab.

Great stuff, my man. Losing a good amount of weight really does feel freeing. I started my own weight loss journey a couple of weeks ago, and I've never felt better. It feels like I can breath again

Congratz man,

Now i'm trying to get underweight (110 pounds) so i can look like those fake teens from pornhub

Congratz man, all i had to do in order to lose 55 pounds was to run daily and cut sugar from my diet. It makes wonders to your health.

Congrats my friend.
Don't know if it's your goal, but it looks like you have a great frame to pack some muscle.
Yeah that is the goal currently :)
Been doing weights the last few months!

Did 253kg on legs yesterday and my thighs ached all today, but I still smashed out a 22+ mile walk today :)

The Force is strong with you sir. Nothing more inspiring than seeing someone turning their life around.
Came here thinking this is a divorce thread.

Congrats, man! Keep it up!

Congrats OP.

I just signed up for a gym membership a week ago and will get on it starting tomorrow. I want to lose 30-40 lbs and get back to my university weight long time ago.
Good for you Bro! That is awesome!!!!
Congratulations, its gonna give you so much more life as you age as well.
That is great. Keep it up.
putting in the effort is always commendable
You can be proud man. This is incredible and inspiring. Thank you for sharing your journey brother.
Glad you are doing so well, mate

Thank you for the lovely words, genuinely means a lot :)

Thank you :)
I drink a lot of frappes.
I'm not really on a diet, I just have things I enjoy :)

My skin is a bit loose on the inside of my thighs and my stomach/sides.

I look alright with a t-shirt or jacket on/dressed in general.

Obviously the loose skin gets me down a bit, as I would look great without it imo, but the loose skin is nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be considering the weight I was.

Congrats but I've moved you up the humans to kill list because you made me listen to a part of a Billy Corgan song.

Wow. Thats the same as 35km. That's insane. I just did a google map check of what's 17.5 km away from my house, and then walking back. Thats roughly the same as me walking to my parents house across town and back home.

When you do these big walks, do you walk normal pace? Slower chill pace? Speed walk it? Do you take break for food? Or do you just eat/drink while walking?

Doing big walks, dont your feet blister?

I'd like to know too. I should lose some weight and would love a nice way like this to do it

The experience from doing something so difficult will carry over to everything else in your life. Not only did you gain a more healthy body, but you also gained a more healthy mind and perspective. Good shit, my brother!
🤜🤛

I just walk at a normal pace, I usually grab a frappe to go from Nero or Costa :)
On rare occasions I might grab a doughnotts doughnut too :)
& I've thankfully never had a blister on my feet, but I did get calluses once last year due to rubbish footwear, that was genuinely a lot of discomfort.

My weekly fit bit stats, for last week week :)
