he should make precisely 2 more games. A new IP, and Last of Us part 3, then retire. That'll make him 55 ish. Their big games take about 6yr to make, he's 45 at the moment, part way through one game. If he was to make a third he'd be in his 60's by the time he'd be done with it. So passing the torch after 2 more makes sense, then maybe taking a back seat for a third if he really wants.
