This will be final game before xmas all rest will be coming on new year now. It's been nearly 20 years since i last ordered from play asia it was back in Wii/DS era however this was the only way i could get hold of this for a reasonably sane price.

Behold momotaro dentestu in english
xGPlQui.jpg

I love playing momoden however it is a handful in Japanese for some of the cards & rules, my prayers have been answered there's an Asian version that besides having Japanese & Chinese it also for the very first time ever as far as im aware for any momoden game to be fully translated into english. As well as letting you pick english it even lets you decide what currency that the game will use from a lot of the world including GBP however it feels wrong to not use Yen.

Kind of weird seeing it finally in english but they have translated absolutely everything, will look forward to hammering this over xmas.

The last xmas parcel from Japan finally arrived just got here before new year i took a gamble and shipped it out. A mix of the remaining switch games i was waiting on the newest release of tetsudo nippon which comes with a keychain & acrylic train nameplate of the model that's celebrated in this release. Also super happy Chicory has finally been saved from digital only i love that game and have been praying it would finally get a nice physical & my wish was granted. Also Gimmick 2 has been saved as well for some reason Japan has already got it the west has to wait a little while for a local physical release.

The newest Taito egret II mini vol3 expansion arrived too, this is the combine kit set glad the box was a bit smaller this time as these do take up room.

Last couple of bits in the parcel were dragon quest items a king slime candy tower, was another prize that was only available to be won from cran games in the arcade thankfully amazon marketplace sellers like offloading this stuff so i get a chance to grab alsorts of weird & wonderful stuff.

The final item is a set of real world replicas of the boss medals from Dragon quest X these are used in the magic labyrinth to allow you to battle the boss on the face of the medal. I love seeing stuff brought into the real world from DQ games. No idea where these were originally obtained from but the look like lottery prizes, another amazon jpn find.

This wasn't due till saturday but it's here. the keyboard on a 48k a bit fiddly to get around as i grew up with a plus 3 but i discovered my switch hori RAP works for a stick so i can mostly get around with that although the button mapping for all options ect is all over the place but i have remembered which one is fire at least. Now to load a usb up with all my fave speccy games.

Haven't posted here in a while. I got a bunch of gaming related stuff around the holidays and my birthday. Happy New Years!

I got this cool shirt, I have no idea why Robo is sitting in a bowl of Ramen, but there he is. I also have no idea how there's that much crap on the shirt seeing as I hadn't worn it yet.
46UFSbk.jpg

I got these swell rubber Pikmin Coasters. They don't stick to my glass when they get wet from condensation which is nice. Nothing like grabbing a drink and having a cold and wet coaster fall on your lap.
K2nAL7H.jpg

I got this stuffed Korok which goes well with the Korok my brother got. I built a catapult with rockets to get him up on the top shelf. For reasons unknown to me, they have insane camel toes.

I got this 8BitDo Pro 2 to replace the Dual Shock 4 controller I use for Playstation emulators. Way better in every way, no giant LED, and a battery life of more than 2 hours. I use a Retro Fighters Defender on the actual PS1 and PS2 consoles when I play on those.
ORLwNRU.jpg

My older brother gave my younger brother and I these keychains, I got the NES/Famicom sets while he got the SNES/N64/GC sets. Perfect for someone who enjoys keeping a bunch of sets of keys for some reason.
er618ng.jpg

My sister got me this neon mushroom. It's as bright as the sun so it's not going anywhere in my direct line of sight.
JoIelR1.jpg

She also got me this LEGO piranha plant set which looks pretty good. I guess it's a piggy bank, but it doesn't accept bitcoin, and I never carry change.
Ew3eNo9.jpg

I got a few Fallout items to add to my collection from my younger brother as well. These Nuka Cola sweatpants are so nice I change out of them when I eat so I don't cover them in sauces, sticky syrups and grease.
Y5aYgG6.jpg

This Slocum's Joe cup will be the talk of the office, only I don't work in an office, or drink coffee, and I can't imagine washing this thing properly. It looks great on a shelf!
esV2Wge.jpg

I got these tumblers I can actually drink out of, I have a couple older ones, one I've used to the point the print has faded pretty badly. Now I can alternate and ruin them all over a longer period of time!
Q8blBF2.jpg

I got this swell Nuka-Cola lunchbox made in China out of real authentic Chinese tin. It looks great with the other unused lunch pail I got with Fallout 3. Seriously the Nuka girl stuff is great. I wish Bethesda's games were as polished as their collectables.
4XqrvYo.jpg

I got some Switch games too. The new Mario Party which I'll for sure play once maybe, Echoes which I already played and really enjoyed despite "being forced to play as a girl" and River City Saga: Three Kingdoms which I know literally nothing about but looks fun.

Good times.

Here's all my pick-ups from my recent Japan/Korea trip I came back from yesterday.

Still haven't found the energy to sort through everything though, and it's back to work with me today, so pile on the ground for now it is! XD

With a collection this extensive just curious if you also track how many you play or beat?
Do you collect for any other systems as well?
I just have a regular notepad list, like I do with everything else.

I know, antiquated, but the number of stuff I'd need to transfer over at this point seems like too much time, especially since I have massive numbers for other stuff as well.

Been using them for so long, feels weird to change now, especially since it won't be an easy transition.

I would love to see you bringing all that through customs. :messenger_tongue:

What some of the pictures in this tread really give your perspective on it just how many games have been released for the Switch 😲

Few new pickups for this month. The last time i played game of life i was 7 years old  time to see how much of the rules i remember as it's all in Japanese getting flashbacks of momoden but there is a fun spinner hehe. For those curious how on earth it works i have indulged your curiosity, looks like some form of mouse type sensor that detects the black and white areas on the reverse of the wheel.

Finally got around to getting the Taito laserdisk collection and Yobarai tantei miasma breaker out of the ones that have turned up this ones the one i want to try out first. Looking forward to it as i loved the eshop demo.

Other 2 were the latest guilty gear on switch, not a huge fighting game player but after seeing the collab on dave the diver with this particular game i thought it would be a fun time. The other game is Angelian trigger a weird shooting game that plays like space harrier.

I usually bring the majority of it on a carry on smaller suitcase, but this time, in my super stretchy backpack, and it's been fine every time, albeit during security x-rays they always have to stop it on my carry-on then look at me for a few seconds after seeing what's in there and then let me go on my way, lol.

Do you use a ladder for reaching games on the top shelf?

I did indeed have to to get the games up there, and will need it again if there's a game up there that I need. Luckily I just made sure to mark which games were up there, so only when I know something is up there I'll need it then. Just a short ladder though, so no too bad. XD

My brother ordered this for me for my birthday last year, but it was delayed and just recently showed up at the door.

Three Zero 1:6 Scale Nuka Cola t-51 Power Armor. The figure is 14" tall, heavy and most of them have weak ankle joints so they tend to nosedive off shelves in the middle of the night but somehow don't get damaged in the process. My Atom Cats T-60 set fell about 6 feet onto a hard floor and only a single glued-on part came off which I just re-glued. These figures have a ton of articulation in the inner frame, reduced to not-so-much with the armor attached but the goal was to be 1:1 with the games so I'm fine with that. The detail is great, the inner frame includes a pilot with a blue leather Vault-Tec suit visible through the frame. The straps visible on the outside of the armor are also made of leather. Of course, all the different parts are interchangeable, using magnets to stay attached. The power armor redesigns for Fallout 4 were one of my favorite additions to the series and while the in-game performance and fusion core mechanics were lackluster, the designs themselves are awesome. Instead of looking like the tin man suit from Fallout3/NV, it looks like the beefy, bulky armor it was in the first two games.

Now the switch is near the end of it's life cycle i still have a lot of games i have been meaning to pick up so i decided to get started on it. The Xenoblade games i have wanted for a while but they are kind of pricy. Luckily the Japanese versions have english and are a lot cheaper than the local releases here in the uk. Also grabbed all the Yokai watch games used to be hardcore into the 3DS releases but kind of burnt myself out. Will be nice to play the 1st one again remastered for switch as well as YW4 as that one is totally new to me.. Grabbed both versions of 4 as one has the expanded content and the other has the nicer cover & it was super cheap as i got it used.

Let me know how Yokai Watch 4 is. Also is there any English Translation on the cart?

Yokai watch 4 has language option but when I went in sadly no English just Chinese and Japanese. Thankfully level 5 puts furigana above the kanji so I can at least read everything, had a quick play and holy shit things have upgraded since the 3DS versions it looks amazing.

Managed all the Japanese 3DS yokai games so hopefully this one won’t contain anything language puzzle based. My only concern is how much is locked away behind the toy nfc keys. Part of the reason I stopped playing the series was I got pulled into hardcore collecting medals as they unlocked loads of events in the games when you scanned them in so I ended up getting burnt out on the series.

Been about 6 years easily since I last played any of them, it’s going to be fun trying the newest as it looks super polished and seems to combine some of the worlds from the previous YW games.

Other parcel arrived today with more of my switch stuff. Bought urban legend dissolution centre last week digitally as i wanted to support the devs with a double dip. My physical special edition of it arrived today. Absolutely love this one the art, music & story are fantastic one of my fave new games of the year so far. Love indie stuff also grabbed dragon ball Kakarot as i enjoyed the demo of it a while back. I had some of the simple series escape room games digitally back when they released them on 3DS, nice that they remastered them and made a physical collection of them all on switch, also grabbed othello as i enjoy a game ore two of it from time to time.
