Couple more arrivals waiting for me when i got home from my late shift. Both off ebay as i had some nectar points to use up. Grabbed tasukete tako san as it looked interesting and i finally picked up arms, I tried the full demo when they were doing the weekly trial thing on NSO ages ago and i kind of ended up enjoying it but i'm not into sports games enough to blow £49 on it for a new copy. However i randomly spotted a used copy for £12 that i couldn't say no to, was in decent condition thankfully. Was a kid selling it off according to listing so that cart could have been beat up but thankfully not.

Another parcel of goodies arrived today mostly the remains of my amazon japan wishlist i have pretty much totally caught up on stuff for now, today just a selection of shmups i have been meaning to pick up. That's all the cotton special edition sets bought now those were the last 2 i needed not exactly super essential but really nice to have all the games on switch now, also pleased to finally have dave the diver in physical form that's another saved from digital oblivion. The gacha this month are another set of the haniwa excavation gatcha from a couple of weeks back i want to make a bigger set so now i have 2 to combine.

And that's it till my preorders start shipping.

My first import through Amazon JP, the limited edition of Witch on the Holy Night, has just arrived today. I'm happy that the process has been rather smooth (had to fill some extra paperwork so it can pass EU customs) and the LE has been delivered fast and in great condition.

Heimdall_Xtreme Perhaps I'm mistaken, but did you also get the Limited Edition for Witch on the Holy Night? If so, did you get the North American one, or the Japanese one like me?

And also some local pick-ups (Citizen Sleeper was a pre-order).

That said, I have a bunch more imports from North America and Japan coming in soon!

That edition is nice, I think that in a few months I will buy the PS4 version again, I bought the standard Nintendo Switch Asian version because it is in English, but I still bought the Japanese one.

Thanks, I've been wanting the Limited Edition for the Switch for a while now (I think I mentioned this in our chat over in the Visual Novel OT), so I finally took the plunge since the pricing on Amazon JP was/is actually reasonable even when accounting for shipping and tax. I also snagged the ESRB version of Tsukihime: A Piece of Blue Glass Moon, which should arrive in a week or two from VGP.

No worries, buddy. If you plan on rebuying Witch on the Holy Night for the PS4 and can't find the ESRB version anymore, I recommend getting the CERO version since it's cheaper and also comes with English language support. Just keep in mind that the artbook, cover art, etc, are in Japanese.

So, the first order, Witch on the Holy Night, took 3 days to arrive, and this second one with Loopers and VA-11 Hall-A took 4 days. I'm very pleased with their fast shipping, but it does come at a small premium. Since you're in Mexico, I think it should be cheaper for you than it was for me (Europe).

Oh and Loopers is considerably cheaper on Amazon JP compared to PlayAsia, which is why I grabbed it from them in the first place. That being said, you should definitely get your copy of Loopers once you're able to!

Barely played because of Elden Wing DLC., but the US version has MGS1 NTSC on disc with PAL and Japanese packs as free DLC (if you get the European version I hear PAL is on disc), Spanish dub is listed as part of the PAL version when all packs are installed.

Downside, all languages part of PAL version is the 50hz version of the game. Only English US and Japanese are 60hz versions.

My Tsukihime Remake Limited Edition order finally arrived yesterday ( Heimdall_Xtreme ). I now have both LE in my collection and will be looking to read them soon, perhaps next month.

In the meantime I'll be waiting for Aniplex & Type Moon to announce the Limited Edition for the upcoming Fate/stay night Remastered.

Oh, and I returned my PS4 copy of GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition and grabbed an Xbox copy instead since it comes with entitlements for both the One and Series versions.

The infinitely nicer version of the japanese famicom world championships, the badges are slightly different than euro ones the enamel is more recessed.

Some more gacha, tiny dagashi and some fully recreated books of the nippon natsukashi taizo series of books have a lot of these as full sized versions already kind of neat to have tiny versions.

Final thing is the book of Bill been ages since anything was released for gravity falls. kind of fun that this book is not intended for kids this time it's a lot darker in content so it's for adults only.

Hmm I forgot to update this post with my game pick ups...

Got this copy of CYGNI: All Guns Blazing plus some Japanese imports that I ordered a few days ago from Amazon JP, including this Limited Edition of Touhou Luna Nights, which was surprisingly priced at €25 when converting the Yen sticker price.

And earlier today I've received two new orders. The first one was an Amazon JP order I've placed this past Monday, and the other one was from VGP with a couple of North American imports, including this Quake 2 LRG release.

Was eagerly waiting for this parcel it was my birthday present to me parcel, the shipping destroyed me though as it was 6kg however i regret nothing.

Thats a biiiig box and you'll see why.

When i saw him randomly on amazon japan i fell in love at first sight, love his sculpt and it's a sofubi so the finish is really nice as they are super high quality pvc figures but it's not common to see this at this size hence his rather expensive price tag. Worth every yen i spent to get him here also in the same box was a copy of omuri as i was waiting to grab the euro release then they cancelled so i grabbed the £12 japanese version instead. Also some new gacha and some books which is wht my parcel weighed so much with them & mr pacman hogging the weight.

He scales perfectly with the quarter scale arcade, this is how i plan on having them displayed when i eventually finish my gaming space and everythings back out.

todays gacha are based on sauces i eat a metric ton of, there's always a bottle of one of these in the kitchen.

final items are some books all covering the history of gacha from the showa era i love learning about this stuff,

Couple of new arrivals one from amazon one from limited run, absolutely love grounded glad it's now no longer a digital only title although i hate that i missed out on the special edition. Will have to try in december to see if i can grab one on the secondary market. Been a long time since i played baten kaitos i barely remember any of it when i played them on gamecube still have the originals but it's nice to have them as an updated double pack.

Just one import today from the states from the Panic store a tiny pizza box case for my playdate. Wish it had been pizza scented to complete the feel. Couldn't resist it when i saw it in the email from Panic.

I know the Switch versions are "better", but I prefer just the original Falcom programmed versions with English text. These are overpriced on Ebay. I was able to find some stray new copies at two different GameStops about an hour away. I had them ship the games to my local store. So, I was able to get these for the original MSRP ($55 CAD), which is a good deal these days.

I'm doing the same process with Nayuta Boundless Trails. Found a lone copy at a distant store. It's currently waiting for me at my local store until Friday, when I pick up Astrobot.

I'm playing Daybreak right now (and Visions of Mana, and Octopath Traveler), but these are next on the list. I played about 30 minutes of Zero and liked what I saw.

The art in them is amazing i hope they contineuse with a few more series just a shame there isn't a way to make inscryption work properly in card form in the real world least it's fun to see items from that world brought into this one. Did the same as before grabbed 2 packs one to open & enjoy the other to keep sealed to put with the series 1 pack inside my special edition of the game.

And a couple of games, thankfully switch version of outer wilds isn't gimped like it's PS5 release.

Just one arrival today, picked up the strictly limited edition of the space invaders invincible collection as it's the nicest out of the regions released. Comes with a ton of goodies showcasing the history of the series as well as the book that was in the Japanese special edition now in hardback form and also in english. More importantly the cart has all the games on it including arkanoid VS space invaders which was crappily only a code in a box on the japanese edition that i picked up a year or so ago. Held off getting it for a while as it's kind of pricy but seeing as it's nearly sold out now i thought it was time to grab it while i could.

Just a small correction, that's a poster/comic. You can see it here in this unboxing video where the dude unfolds it (it's time stamped). But yeah, they did a good job with this Astro Bot physical release.

Some retailers also offered an Astro Bot plush as a pre-order incentive, including the one I got my copy from. However, Sony messed up a bit since the pre-order numbers were apparently too high, so they didn’t have plushies ready for all the pre-order copies that shipped, lol. My retailer said I should receive my Astro plush in 2-3 weeks or something.
